Noctis tossed Miras foot back and she almost fell backwards by his enormous strength

"What the hell is going on here?" he asked, she suddenly lost her voice and did not know what to reply, the other girls started to back off a little

"If you desperately want to know the answer why I prefer Shiro over you then fine here you have it.. Shiro might not be rich but her personality is priceless, she has a kind heart and feels for other people, if I look at you girls then all I see is jealousy, all you care about is money and fame but you close your eyes for the really beautiful things in life! Why would I want to have friends like you around me who tell me how great I am just because I am the prince! I would rather stay alone for the rest of the semester than being around selfish and fake people like you!" your eyes grew big as you heard his words

"If I ever see anyone of you lay a hand on her again then you will get to know me! and trust me you don't want to know that side of me!" Mira stepped back and bowed before the prince in apology

"F-Forgive me my prince, we promise that we will never interrogate Kirihara again" you were shocked and happy at the same time, you saw how Mira and her girls started retreating, your heart started calming down and Noctis finally turned around to you, you met with his eyes and another shock filled your body as you saw that they were not his usual blue color, he slowly bend down to your level

"Hey! Are you alright??" he asked worried as he carefully cupped your bruised cheek with his hand, you could not reply you were so amazed by his eyes that your words were stuck in your throat, you only nodded in response

"I'm sorry that I did not make it in time to provoke this..." he slowly caressed your cheeks with his thumb and you felt his soft warm hand touching your skin, the pain still remained but though it was him it was getting less painful, you shook your head

"N-No you cary no fault.. I was careless... T-Thank you for saving me once again.." you could see that his blue eyes slowly came back and he was back to normal

"I'm sorry... I never meant to cause you so much trouble because I talked to you.. It's just that I can't help myself... I feel a strong connection between us and I want to spend more time with you and the others..." you suddenly smiled weakly

"You don't have to apologize, you were the only person who ever recognized me the way I am and that's why I will always be in your debt... I don't care if the girls keep picking on me because we are friends, I can manage somehow.. I am so happy that I can be around you guys I would never want to exchange that for anything else" Noctis smiled back at you and slowly removed his hand, he stood up from the ground and held out his hands

"Come on, I'll bring you home" you nodded and took his hands, he pulled you up to your feet and you winced in pain as you noticed that your shoulder was still hurting from the impact on the wall

"Ahh.." you covered your shoulder with your hand and made a painful face, Noctis eyes started shaking as he noticed

"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" he asked concerned, you shook your head lightly

"No it's fine, my shoulder just hurts a little from the impact.." he looked at you closely and then he saw a small stain of blood on your uniform, he took another step towards you and removed your hand softly, he carefully pulled down your shirt and inspected your injury, it was not big but still it needed to be disinfected

"It's only a small bruise from the contact with the stone but still it has to be disinfected.." he said and moved your shirt back up in place, you just hummed in response

"My place is not far from here..." you said, he nodded

"Alright, let's go" he slid his hand into yours and started walking towards your apartment complex.

He unlocked the door with the keys you had given him and walked inside turning on the lights, he walked you in your bedroom and let you sit down on your bed

"Do you have a first aid kid in the house?" he asked, you nodded

"Yes, in the bathroom shelf" you replied and he went to get it, he returned with the small white box and sit down on the bed next to you, you had undone your blue bow from your school uniform that held your shirt together on the top and lied it next to you, you slipped off the shirt and were now only in your white under top that showed your shoulders nicely, Noctis tried to keep his focus and opened up the box, he took out a pair of gloves and slid them over his hands, you moved on the bed and sit with your back towards him to give him better access on your wound, he looked at you and hesitated a little before his hands touched your long black hair and gently brushed it over you shoulder to get them out of the way, he took some rubbing alcohol and purred it on a cotton ball

"This might sting a little.." he warned you, you nodded and he carefully pressed the ball on your wound, you grimaced your face as you felt pain rushing through your body, Noctis tried to be careful as he cleaned out your wound, after he was done with that he grabbed a patch and removed the paper on the sticky side, you felt his hands pressing down the patch on your bare skin and it made you shiver, he observed you from behind and tried not to cross the line since he had no idea if you would feel the same way...besides he was not allowed to feel anything for you anyway..

"It's all done.." he said softly, you nodded and slowly turned back around to him

"T-Thank you.. really" he gave you a small smile

"Anytime.." you grabbed a cardigan and pulled it over your shoulders to cover your bare skin, silence started to fill the atmosphere around you 2... what should you say to him... you wanted to say so much but... you remembered his words and then you broke the awkward silence

"Hey Noct..." you started, he hummed in response

"Can I ask you something?" he nodded slowly

"Sure.." silence was back in the room for another minute

"Y-Yours eyes back then... they were.. red..." Noctis knew that this moment would come sooner or later..

"Yes... they were.." you nodded lightly

"D-Do you mind telling... why?" he shook his head

"No... I don't mind.. I knew that this would happen so I will tell you.." you buried your fingertips in your shirt fabric and waited for his explanation with a once again fast beating heart.
