Ignis turned around only to find Noctis gone, his face looked shocked and he cursed

"Damn it!" he looked at the letter in his hands and read a few words from it

"Great... the king is gona kill me.." he folded the paper and placed in his pocket before he started walking, the music started playing and his heart started to speed up

"What am I going to tell them?" he mumbled to himself

"The truth?" Prompto's voice said from behind, he turned around and looked at him standing at the wall with crossed arms

"You told him didn't you?" he asked trying to hold in his anger

"And if I did? they both deserve it..." Ignis walked over to him and grabbed his collar

"Do you have any idea what this will cause?? he will blow off the wedding and Lucis will drown in war!!" Prompto freed himself from his grip

"I know! don't think that I am dumb! I am well aware of that! but I just couldn't keep on watching them suffering like this! have you seen Shiro lately?? the will of life has disappeared in her eyes and Noct is acting like he has no heart at all! I had to do something! I know that Noct will figure things out with Luna and they can agree to peace even without a wedding! we just have to have fate in them! don't you believe in him at all??" Ignis turned around and hit the wall with his fist

"That's not it! you just don't understand what responsibility he has! if he breaks off the wedding with lady Lunafreya then Lucis is at war with Nilfheim 24h from now! there was a reason why the king asked us to keep an eye on Noct! we should have acted the second he saved that girl from drowning! but no! instead we let her interfere with his life and now you can see what happened!" Prompto looked at him

"You never really cared about them at all didn't you? have you watched them lately?? you call Noct your friend but you never cared about his well being in the first place! a good friend would make things right like they should be and not drag him into this more! he might be the prince but he is still just a human!" Ignis paused for a moment until he replied

"I am his friend.. but I am also a butler of the king who was appointed to guard the prince, that's why I am responsible whenever something does not go the way as it should be!" Prompto walked past him towards the ball room

"You couldn't have stopped this from happening no matter how hard you tried, love always finds a way, keep that in mind" Ignis was left standing there alone as the doors to the big ball room opened before Prompto.

You finished looking through your pictures and placed the camera back into your pocket, you took a glimpse at the watch and saw that it was nearly time

"5 more minutes..." you mumbled and slowly stood up, you walked to the edge and placed your hands on the metal bars as you looked over to the castle that was in the distance, you could faintly hear the music playing if you listed carefully, you lowered your head and looked down sadly letting your hair fall into your face

"I wish I could have told you.." you whispered softly

"Told me what?" a warm voice replied from behind you which made your heart stop, you turned around slowly until your eyes caught the person you wanted to see so desperately

"N-Noctis?" you asked confused as the shock washed over your face, you eyed him unintentionally and noticed his clothes, he was wearing a beautiful black suit with a white shirt and a black tie, his hair was styled more than usually and it made his perfect shaped face stand out even more, you figured that this was what he had chosen to wear for his weeding
