He grinned at me and she glared at me. “What can I help you with?” I said bitterly. “I need a CD.” I rolled my eyes. “Gee could they possibly be over there on the giant rack of CD’s?” I said sarcastically.

Rick glared. “Watch it fag or I might have to get you fired.” “So get me fired!” I challenged. “You fucking douche.”

Why was Alex here? Was she just here to mock me? With her new stupid boyfriend. He could go die in a fucking hole for all I cared.

But not her.

Because I still loved her.

Aw, who am I kidding? I’m Seamus Fitzpatrick. I don’t love anyone. I don’t even love myself. Maybe Lizzy, but that was because she was my sister. I didn’t love anyone else. Especially not stupid, lying, backstabbing, cheating, slutty preps.

Rick and Alex went over to the CD racks and began to examine some CD’s. I had to learn to watch my mouth. If I lost this job I wouldn’t be able to afford cigarettes, concert tickets, merch, alcohol, or anything else that I wanted.

The one girl was walking towards the checkout. I followed her and began to scan the price of everything. “Seamus Fitzpatrick!” I spun and couldn’t help but grin. “Evan! Where have you been you slacker?” I joked. Evan slid behind me at the counter as I continued to scan the price of everything. “Man what is playing?” he asked. I shrugged.

“It was playing when I got here.”

He searched around. “Where’s the Bring Me The Horizon album?” I picked it up and handed it to him. “Here, you’re too stupid to change it. Finish checking her out while I change it.”

Evan took over for me as I changed the CD. The girl left the store and I stood up to talk to Evan. “I’ve been sick. Flu,” he said with a frown. I rolled my eyes. “Good to have you back.” I picked up a box and passed it to Addie. “Mind putting these away?” She smiled at me and took the box.

She went to the backroom and Evan raised an eyebrow. “Still together?” “I’m gonna dump her soon,” I said and he laughed. “Good luck facing her dad.”

“You’re going to dump your other toy?” Alex asked. Her tone was as stuck up as ever as Rick handed Evan the CD to scan and took out his wallet.

I glared, hate in my eyes. “Yea. I thought I liked her. But then I met this other really great girl.” Alex flipped her hair and went back to ignoring me.

“There you are. When do you get off?”

I rolled my eyes at Clifton as he entered. “Pretty soon. Addie covered most of my shift. Why?” “I have news on PacMan.” I got nervous. “Is he alright?” Cliff nodded. “He’s the same. Not really much change.” I could see Alex paying attention now.

“Hey, Shame, go talk to him alright? I’ll cover the rest of your shift and you can take mine tomorrow while I’m at a show,” Evan said. I thanked him and followed Cliff to the food court.

We sat down. Alex and Rick sat at the table next to us with smirks. Stupid preps. “Dad says PacMan should make it. He said we should be able to visit with him in a few weeks.” I nodded, relaxing a bit. “Has he been conscious through this?” Cliff shook his head. “Dad said he’s been conscious through some of it, but not much. He said he can still feel a lot of the pain though.”

Man. Poor PacMan. I heard Alex laughing and looked over to see her and Rick holding hands again. He was telling her jokes. My anger boiled.

“Don’t do it. You’ll regret it when you get arrested for murder,” Clifton said in a bored voice. “I don’t really think I’ll regret it much,” I grumbled. He rolled his eyes at me and we got up to get food.

We sat back down with pizza and ate in silence. Alex would occasionally giggle. It made me want to shoot Rick. How dare he take me girl!

Oh.

Not that she was mine.

Because I didn’t want her.

Cliff was avoiding my eyes, meaning he was hiding something. “Cliff, what’s up?” I demanded. He sighed and set his pizza down. He took a sip of soda. “Paxton’s mom is planning to move when he gets out of the hospital. She’s scared to send him back to school because Jake’s brother is there.”

My eyes widened. “God I fucking hate Jake!” I cried angrily. I felt Alex’s eyes on me now and I just didn’t care. I spun around and glared hard at her. “Got a problem?”

She glared right back. “Nope.” “Than stop staring!” “I’ll stare at whatever I damn well please!” “That doesn’t even make sense!” “Your face doesn’t make sense!” Why, oh why, are girls so stupid? I glared at angrily. “Quit glaring at my girlfriend you fag!” Rick spat angrily.

I crossed my arms angrily. “No.” Alex angrily flipped her hair. “What is your problem Seamus?!” “I STILL LOVE YOU!” I screamed. I jumped up and stormed off angrily.
