You jogged up the hospital hallway wiping your wet, bloodshot eyes. You ran to the room Grayson was in, the doors was locked and you could hear screaming from the inside, you wiggled the doorknob as hard as you could. It wouldn't budge. There was a long beep. You screamed, you heard Ethan scream 'no'.

"Let me in!" You sobbed banging on the door. All you could hear was crying and you put your back against the door, sliding down it running your fingers through your hair.

"No Gray please!" You whimpered.

"GRAYSON!" You heard Ethan scream out in grief.

You didn't make it in time, you should have been there. You would have had time to say the last I love you. 'This is all my fault' you thought. You heard the doorknob being fumbled with so you stood.

Ethan opened the door revealing a lifeless Grayson. You ran over and stood next to his bed, you fell to the floor Sobbing loudly.

You were woken by the nightmare. You looked at Grayson lying in his Hospital bed sleeping. You got up and went over to him crying, the dream seemed so real. You took his hand in yours and strained yourself  not to cry loudly. He woke up and looked at you, he looked tired and sad. You kissed him and hugged him softly.

"I love you." You whispered through your cries.

"I love you." He kissed your forehead.

"What happened?" He could barley speak but he was trying to make sure you were okay.

"I had a dream"-he reached a shaky hand out and wiped your eyes."you died" you started crying again.

He looked up at the ceiling, his lip started trembling.

He looked at the cord to his oxygen.

"But I am going to die."- He whispered, gripping your hand as tight as  he could, which wasn't very hard. "Cancer isn't just a part of me anymore, it's taken over my body and there's no treatment that can fix me." Tears rolling down his face now.

"I love you baby." his eyes slowly closed and his grip became looser. You screamed.

"GRAYSON PLEASE NO!"- you shrieked. "Please, please fight for me."

The long beep wasn't just a nightmare anymore.

"I love you too Grayson Bailey Dolan." You whispered fighting back your tears.

Doctors ran in and and you sat in the chair staring into nothing, a nurse tried to talk to you but all you could do was just stare at what seemed like home right now.
