Chapter 15:

“Why are you so easy to be cheated on?” A voice asked me.

I was in this black room alone, all of a sudden a bright light turns on. And this guy starts calling my name really creepy, “EJ, EJ, EJ, EJ!” I started running but the hall never ended. I feel a hand grab a grip on me…

“Baby!! Wake up!” Chres was sitting up on the bed shaking me to wake up. I shot up and looked around the room.

Chres and I are alone in our suite the TV was on family guy and I was sweating like crazy.

“What happened Estephany?” Chres said grabbing my shoulder.

“I had the worst dream EVER!” I hugged him and put my forehead on his chest. He put his arms around me which made me feel secure. He didn’t ask what the dream was about. Chres just hugged me without tempting to do anything.

Chres stayed up all night with me until I feel asleep in his arms. I felt protected with him like nothing in the world could break us.

When I woke up, Chres was still sleeping. We didn’t have anything to do. And this was our second to last day before we head back home. Melanie just wanted to give us the scripts and we weren’t going to start filming till January.

I saw that Chres’s phone was lighting up, I got up from bed. It was Alexis calling. It was odd to see my best friend calling my boyfriend early in the morning. I decided not to answer but go see what’s wrong. I knocked on Alexis door and she answered quickly. I knew I wasn’t the person she wanted to see right away.

“Hey!” I exclaimed. Pretending I didn’t see her expression.

“Hey…” she said softly. It was weird though because she was acting weird just like Chres.

“Sorry, I’m the person you want to see…” I said sarcastically.

“No, it’s fine. I just needed to talk to Chres real quick and I thought was him when I heard you knocking.” She confessed.

“So can I ask you a question then?” I sounded annoyed but I didn’t care I walked in and sat on her bed.

“Um…” It took her a long to think about it. “Sure, why not?” she was looking down at her hands picking at her small fingers.

“How come you and Chres are acting weird?” I was biting my lip. Alexis didn’t answer she kept quiet. “Alexis did you hear me?” I asked.

“Yes,” She was now biting her nail, which meant she was SUPER nervous. Alexis didn’t want to make eye contact either so I knew something was up.

“Then answer me!” I demanded. By now I was getting ticked off.

“I can’t tell you!” Alexis blurted out. Once those words came out she put her hand over her mouth regretting saying what she said.

“What do you mean you can’t tell me?” I asked. I tried calming myself down because I didn’t want to get into a fight with Alexis.

“I mean I can’t tell you, Okay” Alexis sighed deeply.

“Damn it why not?!”  I yelled. I was getting both frustrated and pissed off.

“Because I promised I wouldn’t okay!!” she yelled back.

“Fine be that, way. I thought me and you told each other everything but I guess I was wrong, right!” I stormed out of the room. And left her their dumbfounded.

I went into the room and Chres was talking on the phone, once he saw me enter our room he hung up.

“Who was that?” I asked. I knew I sounded clingy but now both Alexis and Chres were acting weird around me.

“Um…that was…um…Prince…ton….yeah Princeton!” he stuttered at the beginning but fixed his mistakes at the end.

“Chres, look, I love you with all my heart but keeping secrets from me. Is the one thing in this world I hate doing or being done to.” I confessed sitting on the couch, he sat right next to me running his hand through his hair and sighing.

“Do you really want to hear the truth?” he asked. Chresento held my hand, and lifted it up to his lips and kissed my hand.

“Yes,” I sighed heavily “Please!” I didn’t want to fight know with Chresento.

“Okay fine…” He took a deep breath and begin. “A couple of days ago Melanie, our director, was flirting with me. She was sexting with me. I told her I had you but she didn’t listened. Instead she kept threatening me telling me that if I told you anything she would say that me and her had sex. So I kept quiet, that day your ex was at the studio. Was Melanie’s plan, she attacked me at the studio. She tried kissing me but I pushed her away. She somehow got Jason to stick around. The guy punched my in the stomach, he tied me to a chair. And Melanie did every sexual thing she could think of on me. She tried kissing me but I refused.” He paused and let out another breathe.

“She let me go, I told her I wasn’t going to be in the movie anymore. But she said if I quite the movie that she would of told you that, you know, me and her were having sex. Just making a bigger drama.” He had tears in his eyes. Chres got up from the couch and ran his hands through his hair.

“I’m so sorry Estephany!” he admitted. “I know I was stupid to keep it away from you, but that’s why I told Alexis. I’m just really sorry EJ!”

I was dumbfounded from what I was hearing. “Look, I forgive you Chres, but I think we need a little break so I can wrap my mind around this.” I cried, letting a tear run down my cheek. I wasn’t mad at him I was just disappointed.

“See I didn’t want to hurt you EJ!” He hit the wall with his fist not to hard.

“I know you didn’t want to hurt me Chresento, but I just can’t simply forget it.” I got up from the couch. Chres came and sat on the bed.

“So what know?” he asked. Holding my hand.

“I’m going to sleep at Alexis’s but I’m still going talk to you.” I admitted.

“Don’t leave…baby…please. Don’t go!” Chres whimper. Tears came coming down which made things a lot more blurry.

“Just give me two days Chresento!” I suggested. Starting to walk toward the door.

“Don’t please…” Chresento had watery eyes.

“I’m just disappointed Roc.” I left the room and headed toward Alexis’s room.

When I got there we apologized to each other. And we watched Girl Code Marathon. My phone kept lighting up meaning it was Chresento either calling or texting me. I just didn’t want to get to upset with him…
