Garroth's head was spinning, he tried not to look at Aphmau who had stopped struggling Blair's guard's grip and was limp and sobbing in his arms, he could see the hope draining out of her eyes, Garroth snapped out of his trance and went to attack again, he slashed at Blair with his sword which she blocked, as she did Sun shone onto his sword reflecting onto the sand next to him which gave Garroth and idea. He pointed his blade at Blair and aimed it so that the light shone exactly in the guards eyes. He yelled and dropped Aphmau grabbing his eye in pain, she realized what Garroth had done and elbowed the guard between shoulder blades and pushed him over. Blair looked shocked for a second but regained sense, she glared at Garroth and  threw her sword at Aphmau, time slowed down as Garroth watched helpless as the sword flew towards the woman he loved... Well, not completely helpless. He ran and jumped just at the right time in front of her, the sword impaled him instead of Aphmau and he fell to the floor "GARROTH!!" She screamed as Blair laughed "Ahahah! Love is always a mans downfall!" She cackled watching Aphmau run to Garroth, the wound had missed his heart by a tiny bit. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS!?" Aphmau sobbed looking at Blair through her tears "Simple. You have something I want." Blair sneered. She grabbed Aphmau who struggled "Let GO" She screamed squirming trying to get away from Blairs grip, Garroth groaned watching Aphmau getting dragged away. His vision focused and unfocused like a broken camera lens "Cant... Take... Aphmau..." He tried to shout for help but Blair kicked him in the stomach to shut him up "shh sh shh" she whispered taking a small vial and popping the cork off it. A strong smell filled Garroth's nose, hemlock... He tried to fight her grip but she held him still dripping the liquid into his wound. It wasn't a big enough dose to kill him but he could feel it coursing through his veins, "GET OFF HIM YOU EVIL WOMAN" Aphmau screamed, her hands and feet where still bonded so she couldn't run. "Night night" she whispered in Garroths ear as his consciousness faded away "I'll find... You" he groaned looking into Aphmau's eyes "I love you.'' He said. Then he fell unconscious "I... I love you too..." She sobbed. "Oh how touching." Blair said sarcastically grabbing Aphmau and dragging her onto her boat. Her guard who had managed to get his eyesight back kicked Garroth, "That's for my eyes," he said and stepped onto his boat.
