When Aphmau woke up she was in her bed, warm and dry, next to her was a cup of water and a cake, she smiled and sat up. Next to her were her dry and folded clothes. She noticed she wasn't wearing anything but four blankets around her shoulders, she grabbed her quilt and pulled it around her chest looking around to check if Zoe was keeping her eye on her, or worse, Laurence. Aphmau remembered Garroth, she jumped up grabing her clothes, throwing them on and running down the stairs without shoes on, the cold stone floor made her want to jump back into bed and cuddle under the covers, but she had to, she kept running down the stairs stabilizing herself on the banister so she didn't fall, when she got to the bottom she grabbed a door handle and pushed it open and ran into a small room where Dante and another woman she recognized as the chick Dante was fighting with, were sitting. the woman whipped around and jumped out of her chair running out of the house through the village and out of the gate. Aphmau had learned not to question it so she walked towards Dante who had stood up to stop the woman "Oh um, hey... Are you ok?" Dante asked sadly watching the woman run into the woods. He turned and smiled at her like nothing had happened. "Uh, yeah I'm fine. Who- mhm never mind. Why am I here?" She replied watching Dante sit down and start pouring himself a cup of tea. "Zoe wanted you to be supervised. Kawaii~Chan offered to take you in and because I'm a guard you'd be protected from anyone looking for Irene." He said gesturing for Aph to sit down "Oh. Thanks. Um I can't stay though. I have to find Garroth. Where is he?" She said looking at Dante expectantly "... Um... Aph... He started spiralling... Last night he.. he had breathing problems... He started gasping for air... He couldn't breath..." Dante said standing up holding her hand in support "No..." Aph fell backwards in shock "We lost him... Early this morning... I'm so sorry" Dante said hugging Aphmau. Her ears were ringing her vision started to blur and tears started filling her eyes. "He's gone...?" She whispered sitting down clutching Dante's hand "Aph... Is there anything you want to do?" He asked looking into her eyes
"yes... I-I want to see him..."
