Garroth had been getting worse, it looked like he wouldn't make it... Aphmau sat on the sand watching the waves crash and sink, crash and sink, crash and sink again and again, she remembered when Garroth had fallen on her in the waves, that felt like so long ago when in reality it had only been four days... Laurence sat next to her and wrapped a blanket around her so she didn't get too cold "Hey" she said not looking away from the ocean. "You looked cold... Are you?" Laurence asked awkwardly "Eh. To be honest I'm not sure if I was shivering because of the cold or because of what happened..." She shrugged looking down at the sand, Laurence scooted up to Aphmau and wrapped his arms around her shoulders to keep her warm, her head on his shoulder, she sobbed silently and put her arms around Laurence "Why did he do that" she whispered looking up at her friend "Why wouldn't he?" Laurence replied smiling at her "Because he is dying for no reason" Aphmau said, starting to cry into Laurence's shoulder "Aphmau he did that because he loves you. He knew he might die but he knew it was worth it. He'd hate to know you're torturing yourself over him." Laurence said turning Aph's face to look at him. She had tears all down her cheeks "It isn't worth it..." She sobbed "and now he's going to die..." Laurence hugged Aphmau tightly and kissed her head "No way, that won't happen. I promise" he said rubbing her shoulders comfortingly "Promises are what get you killed" She said standing up and walking away leaving Laurence in the sand looking disgruntled.
