I wasflying in the sky, the wind whipped through my hair. I was happy it has been a long time since I've been this happy, so I laughed out loud, finally. The Eagles soared around me gracefully diving, while I tried to do the same."Hi there! "I didn't see anyone, so how was it hearing a voice? Just then a face appeared before me it was a boy looking at me.
He had a boyish face with dimples in his cheeks every time he smiled, which he was doing at the moment. His green eyes twinkled with mischief, while his copper colored hair gleamed in the sun hair whipped around in the wind
"Fancy meeting you up her, what's your name?" Speechless, that's how I felt the only other person that I knew could fly was-
"I'm Peter, by the way." Peter the name sounded familiar...
"My name is-" Should I tell him my name? "Fin"
"Nice to meet you Fin, hey...you want to play a game?"
No "Sure, why not?"
"OK then." Mischief flashed in his eyes along with something else, something a little colder, more sinister.
The look in his eyes made me regret having made any deal with him "Let's have a race, whoever reaches the ground first wins."
"Fine." I said then I dived towards the ground, at the last possible minute I flipped and landed gracefully -or as graceful as I can get- on the ground. Seconds after the boy, Peter, landed.
"Ella!" A new voice was calling me my head whipped around to see someone running towards me. This person had jet black hair that whipped around his face as he ran.
Peter smirked "Well, it was nice meeting you...Ella." With that he disappeared with a little pop, leaving behind the faint scent of roses.
"Where we're you? You had me so worried I was looking for you everywhere!" He indeed did look worried, then his concerned expression morphed into one that only a scolding parent wore.
"What did we tell you about speaking with strangers?" So he did see Peter.
"What if you had been hurt or taken?" Realization found its way to his face "What will your father Say? He will have my Head! "
What he would tell my dad? "No! Don't tell my Dad! He doesn't need to find out, I didn't get hurt or anything."
"Fine..." he sighed "But only because...you know." His face turned beet red
"Oh thank you!" I cried going no my tiptoes to hug him.
"N-nothing problem." He cleared his throat "Now let's get going it's almost past your curfew. And nighttime is the time when he comes out."
I shuddered at the mere thought of that terrible person, we weren't even allowed to say his name -not that we knew it anyways- . "Don't say it like that!" To my ears my voice sounded whiney.
The boy just laughed "Race you!" And he began to run
I dashed after him, I'm definitely not letting him win this time "Hey wait up!"
Using a bit of my magic to push me faster I zoomed past him "Hey!" he cried
I just laughed relishing the feel of the wind in my hair "El-!"
I didn't listen just kept running "Ella look out!"
Time seemed to slow down, I turned and saw the boy running to me but I knew that he would never get to me in time, but he never does.
