RECAP

"I'm El..." The moment I touched his hand a wave of electricity shot up my arm. It was definitely not the good kind. It felt like ice was running through my veins, and my arm. I couldn't move an inch if I wanted to. You know that feeling you get when you hit the funny bone on your elbow? This was ten times worse. Though it only lasted a second, it felt like an eternity.

Peter retracted his hand as if he had been burnt "Nice to meet you...El"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#####
PETER ABRUPTLY turned around "Follow me." Not knowing what else to do, I followed, tightening my grip on my bag. We walked in to the dark part of the alleyway then Peter disappeared behind...a brick wall? He just seemed to have melted into it!

He materialized again amusement dancing in his eyes. "Well?" What was he going on about? "Are you just going to stand there or...?" Right, now I have to walk through a wall...piece of cake! Not!

Oh well. I speed walk towards the wall of brick. What am I doing? Too late now, I break into a run. The bricks were fast approaching. What should I do, should I stop? I slammed into the wall of bricks, so hard I heard a crack I don't even know which bone it was.

"Oh well, I guess I will see you some other time then...El." His voice, now faint, sounded like the wind whispering in my ears because the only thing passing through my aching head was 'What an ironic Harry Potter moment
----------
I awoke to a massive pain in my head and hand. My nose was blocked so I lifted my head up, so I could breathe. Oh my goodness! On the ground, where my head was laid...a pool of blood sat there still warm. But the blood looked weird, it had a type of glow to it.

I felt kind of unnerved and didn't want to stick around to see if my blood would start tap dancing. So I stood up as fast as I could, it was too fast apparently because the moment I was on my feet, I felt dizzy. I took one step but slipped on the puddle of blood and fell again my whole body was in pain, so it was a relief to black out. What was not a relief, it the place of the darkness a nightmare awaited, a horrible nightmare...
----------
I was running. Form what? I don't know, all I knew was to keep running. So I ran, I ran until I couldn't breathe I ran until my mind was a blank, I ran until I couldn't think or feel anything.

I wanted to stop... but I couldn't. There was a voice cackling, it seemed to come from all around me, like the wind.

"You'll never make it in time!" It whispered in my head, and I wanted to prove that voice wrong, I really did. Inside I knew that it was futile, that I would die before I made it. I also knew that I wouldn't give up, I couldn't.

Then I tripped, fell over a rock that wasn't there before. Lying on my back staring at the burgundy sky, I was considering ending it right here. All I had to do was close my eyes, and let darkness engulf me...

"You're giving up already?" This was a new voice, a different voice... an unknown voice.

"I thought you were the chosen one! The one who was supposed to save the worlds!" There was a taunting edge to the voice, I didn't like it.

"I guess I overestimated you." My muscles were aching, my arms trembling as I tried to push myself back up. No matter how hard I tried, I could not move one inch.

"Pathetic, really. Here I was, expecting to see the hero that was prophesied, the one that would change history, and all I see is a little girl too weak to stand up."

"Stop..." I whispered I didn't want to hear it.

"Your mother would be disappointed." I already heard the voice start to fade, as was my life force. He. She? It? Whatever, the voice was right! I can't give up, not now. With all the force I had left I stood myself up.
