Dakota POV

I was having the best time ever. I was dancing like I was crazy and I never sat down once. Boys like Girls didn't really play one slow song which I was glad for. I didn't know who I would dance with so I would probably have sat and watched everybody else. From what I could tell everyone was having the best time. Everyone was dancing and smiling and laughing. Everyone thought they had to at least dance with me for like a minute for what reason I had no clue. My friends pulled me back though. I could also see that Jamie liked Quinn...ALOT. It was pretty cute actually. He danced with her and got her a drink when she said she was thirsty and made sure she stayed there so he could get it for her. I just smirked at Quinn.

"That boy likes you!" I shouted over the music and she blushed and kept dancing.

"Move!" I heard a familiar voice scream. I turned around and Kristi pushing through the crowd as she spotted me.

"You bitch!" she screamed while pushing me down. Thank god Jamie caught me. "What the hell is your problem Kristi?" I demanded as I got up

"You know exactly what I'm talking about Dakota. You try to act like you're so innocent when really you're the hugest liar I've ever met in my entire life!" She raged. I just stared trying to wonder what he problem could be now.

"Would you get to the point to already? What are you talking about?" I repeated. I saw her face was like a tomato before she spoke again "You ruined my party."

I stood in silence not knowing what to say. She knew. She knew. She knew. I kept repeating in my mind. This is not good.

"Oh so you have nothing to say now right. Did you have the most fun when you sold my boat to China. Or what about when you talked to The Wanted Felicia? Ohhh I know what about when you called Yo Gabba Gabba to sing happy birthday to me."

I had no clue what to say. I was speechless. I know Kristi did all that stuff to me in the past but now all I could feel was guilt. Doing this made me no better than Kristi. Samara was right I stooped low even lower than Kristi probably would.

"Kristi I'm sorry" I cried. She gaped at me "You're sorry. You ruined my 16th birthday and all you have to say is you're sorry. You're kidding right?" she fake laughed

"Yes I'm sorry." I said gaining some courage "I'm sorry ok. I don't know what else you want me to say."

"How about why?" she challenged. This time it was me gaping at her "Why? Are you serious? Kristi you have made my life a living hell ever since pre-k! You threw food at me, pulled my hair, spilled your lattes all over me, throwing insults at me left and right. I could never get away from you. You live right next door to me. I thought it was time for you to get a taste of your own medicine. " I screamed my lungs out "You treat people like crap and then think you can get away with it. I'm sick and tired of your bull. I hate you."

I looked at the people surrounding us. They knew what I did. "Try to have a heart for once in your life Kristi." Then I ran. I don't know where I just know I ran so fast I'm pretty sure even Jamie couldn't try to catch me. I stopped when I realized I was pretty far.

I sat down taking my heels off and digging my feet in the sand. I watched as the waves flowed and enjoyed the quiet. "Having fun?" I turned and Cameron was there throwing rocks.

"What do you want Cameron?" I asked turning back towards the sea. "You ok?" he asked "I saw what happened back there."

"I'm fine. You never answered my question." I told him and he sighed "I was looking for you."

"Well you found me. What do you want?". He just stared not saying anything for a while.

"Dakota remember that day I asked you out?" he asked after a while. I nodded still staring at the ocean. "Well I specifically remember you being ecstatic about it. That's all I've been thinking about lately." he came and sat next to me. "Dakota I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I know I didn't believe you and I wish I did. Not believing you was probably the worst thing I could've done. Then I went back to the girl you despise the most. I thought Kristi was telling the truth. Turns out she was lying to my face the whole time." he took my hand and I could feel him staring at me intently.
