Kristi's POV
I stared, mouth wide open. My humming immediately stopped as I stared at my new step sister. I thought she wasn't gonna transfer until she actually moved in?!! If she transferred at all!!
"Jenny?" I repeated. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I go to school here now." She smirked at my frown.
"What do you mean you go to school here? I tho-"
"How do you guys even know each other?" Dakota questions, cutting in. Spinning my head toward hers, I stand a little bit in shock at her new red hair. But the shock went just as fast as it came.
"Who was talking to you loser?" I snapped at her. "Her names Dakota, asshole." Jenny defends, glaring at me.
"I don't have time for gold diggers." I smiled, glancing back at her.
"What's she talking about?" The goth girl questions, putting her hand on her hip.
"Kristi's my stepsister," Jenny explained. "She thinks my mom is a golddigger because she engaged to Kristi's oh so rich daddy."
"Bitch." I heard whatever her name was, Kirsten, I think whisper.
"Is that the only word you know?" I smirk at her. "We're going to discuss this later."
"Fine with me, devil." Jenny glared and started to walk off with her new clique.
"Don't catch hermaphrodite germs." I called and started singing Colbie again.
"Oh, this is how it starts, lightning strikes the heart. It goes off like a gun, brighter than the sun.
Oh, we could be the stars, falling from the sky
Shining how we want, brighter than the sun
I never se-" I stopped singing as the late bell started to ring. Rolling my eyes, I sighed. I better not get detention for this.
Who should be able to tell me what time I can go to class?
Starting to walk slower, I started to sing again. "Brighter than the sun,"
"Miss Harrison!!" Miss Micheals yelled. "You're late."
"Oopps?" I stifle a smile as I shrug my shoulders. "What were you just singing?" She asked.
"Colbie Calliat."
"Since you're so fascinated by singing come up here and sing that song by this Colbie person."
"Why?" I groan.
"Because you were late so you're being punished now come and sing, or go to the principal's office for all your tardies."
"Ughhh," I groaned. "Now!!" she yelled.
Groaning once more, I stomped towards the front of the class, dropping my bag on my seat. Hearing snickers, I see Jenny from the corner of my eye, covering her mouth.
Why does she have to be here?
Standing up tall, I stare at the class starting,
"Stop me on the corner. I swear you hit me like a vision
I, I, I wasn't expecting." I kept singing until I reached the middle of the song and Miss Michaels cut me off.
"Stop!" She yelled. "Miss Harrison you've never had a singing lesson, choir or anything?"
"Choir bores me and I can't tolerate lessons." I say and from the corner of my eye I see Dakota roll her eyes.
"You are wonderful!" Miss Michaels beams."I've never heard anything like it in this school. Other than well, Dakota." I roll eyes, picking my nails.
