Chapter 19

I couldn't take seeing Cameron and Kristi. If I saw them kiss in front of me one more time I swear that this pizza is gong to come right back up. We were in lunch and I could feel people glaring at my back burning holes. I stood up to throw my tray when I went flying out of nowhere.

My unfinished pizza flew everywhere as did my milk. I landed hard with an ooomfff and hitting the side of my face pretty hard on the floor. Everybody burst into laughter as they watched me hit the floor. I looked up and saw a random girl I had never seen before in my life glaring at me with her foot out. She didn't even try to hide it as she smirked and saw my tears coming.

"Oopps?" she said as though it were a question "Next time I'll think before i hurt people."

The tears stung at my eyes as I got up and ran to the nearest bathroom. I locked the stall and just sat on the toilet seat crying easily to myself. I heard the door open in seconds and heard Jenny's and Kirsten's voice.

"Dakota?" they called I just sniffled "We know you're in there" Jenny exclaimed "Dakota I am so sorry."

I unlocked the door and and they engulfed me into a hug. I started to cry into their arms. It's only the first day i came back and people are already harassing me. Do they not get it wasnt my fault? She fell but obviously thats not the story Kristi told everybody. Obviously.

"Do you wanna leave?" Kirsten asked

"No I'm fine!" I sniffles wiping my tears away "Lets just go to class."

Sooo much for sending out invitations for my party I thought. Nobody will come seeing as everyone hates me.

We went outside and sit against the tree until the bell rings. I closed my eyes as I laid my head back on the bark and sighed. Opening them I saw Quinn struggling with her books as she tried to walk inside but failed and dropped them. I got up and ran over to her to help pick them up. I guess she didn't see my face yet because she said thanks and made a joke. Then finally looked at me and her smile disappeared quickly.

She tried to turn away quickly but one wrong step and her books went flying everywhere again. I quickly came to her aid but she just ignored it.

"I'm not supposed to talk to you." she said quietly while picking her books up again

"I know." I shrugged "I just want us to be friend again I can't help but think of what did I do to you that you would actually take Cameron's advice of it?"

"I..I" she stuttered.

"Look Quinn we don't have to be friends if you don't want." I sighed "I give up!" I waved at her and walked away to get my bag as the bell rang.

"Guys I'm done." I told Kirsten and Jenny as I got back to the tree.

They stayed quiet as we walked to next period.

After the 3 hours of detention hell we headed over to Jenny's. She opened the house door and we headed up stairs to see Cameron and Kristi in her room laughing. I stared at them and taking a breath I left before they could see me. In Jenny's room we watched Scream 4. Which I thought was a terrible movie. Every time I jumped Jenny and Kirsten would laugh at me so I just got up to downstairs to get some more popcorn. The popcorn was popping when I heard a voice behind me. I turned around to see Cameron staring at me.

"I didn't hear you." I spoke up.

"I said what are you doing here?" He questioned

"Ha--hanging out with Jen and Kirsten." I stuttered "Which I'm pretty sure is none of your business."

"Hey babe what's taking you so long?" Kristi asked coming downstairs but then saw me

"Nothing just getting the water and snacks." he smiled at her and she went back upstairs but not before glaring at me.

"Dakota hurry up!" Jenny called from upstairs

"In a minute!" I called to her following Cameron into the kitchen "Are you ever gonna talk to me again?"

He didn't answer me. "Fine don't talk to me but your probably making the hugest mistake of your life."

"By not talking to you? I think I'll be fine." He laughed

"No jackass!" I spit at him "By going back out with that thing up there." I pointed upstairs "You may hate me right now but at least I never did anything to you like she did. You're just going by what you think you know when the truth is you don't what the hell happened."

"Are you done yet?" he asked getting fruit snacks from a cabinet.

"You know what? Why do I bother? You're probably always going to hate me for something I didn't even do. I was your girlfriend and you wouldn't believe me but you do choose to believe the skank that hooked up with your brother?" A tear dropped from my eye but I quickly wiped it away "Have a happy life." I stepped away and walked back upstairs to Jenny's room handing her the popcorn thinking about what I just told Cameron.

Hiiiiiii guys! This chapter is probably really short but I think its good. Well anyways this is like the longest time I have gone without uploading for this book and I'm sorry. It was like a month and I just want you guys to know I wanna try to get back on track with it. Love you guys I hope to upload soon and I hope you like it.
