Dakota's POV
It's been almost two weeks since my party and I couldn't be happier with life right now. Kristi and I had made amends and that was that. We occasionally hung out now and then, don't get me wrong we're not best friends or anything. It does turn out that it's so much better having her as a friend and not an enemy. Not just for me mostly for Jenny. I mean she is the one that has to live with the girl after all. Kirsten and Kristi were slowly coming to face with their problems. They weren't exactly like before much better than that. They talked it all out deciding they were really fighting over nothing. I could tell that Kirsten didn't fully trust Kristi though but I also could tell she was starting to.
Jamie and Quinn started dating which Cameron was happy and a little bit sad about. Happy because Jamie dating meant he didn't like me but sad because I don't think Cameron really liked Jamie that much. Jamie still sticks with us. He has become my best friend along with Jenny and Kirsten. Jenny and Drew had the cutest relationship ever. Drew said he didn't want to be so really far apart since his school is about three hours away anyway. He's transferring here next year since the school year is basically over.
Kirsten was still single and loving it. She said she and I quote "Brian and I were dating so long, I forgot what it's like to be single."
Cameron and I were taking things slow even though he told me he loved me now almost everyday. It was the greatest feeling. Samara and Ryder were going as strong as ever. Even though they hadn't been dating that long Samara told me that the other day Ryder told her he loved her. I can tell you now the girl was bouncing off walls when she told me. That's how happy she was and then he asked her if she wanted to go with him to prom. Of course she agreed without hesitation.
Which brings me to what I'm doing right now. Samara's makeup.
Yup you guessed it. Today was prom and Samara was so excited she could burst. She was in her gorgeous silver dress we found at the mall. It was perfection on her. The dress clung tight but not to tight to be considered slutty. The beads and sequins at the top shined and the rest of the dress flowed down to the floor.
Samara went and dyed a few streaks of her hair red and cut her waist length hair to her shoulders yesterday. I was shocked and yelled at her because I was doing her hair and everything else. Samara just shrugged saying she wanted a bit of a change. My mom laughed obviously amused at our arguement.
Now I was doing Samara's hair which I curled. "I still can't believe you cut your hair."
"Change." she sing-songed. After I was done I had to admit Samara looked gorgeous with her new hair length and red streaks. The red made her face glow making her radiant. I moved on her to makeup.
I knew Samara wasn't big on makeup so I gave her a natural look and gave her chapstick since I knew she hated lipgloss and lipstick. Samara looked beautiful and I knew she felt it when I spun her around in the chair.
"I look hot." she smiled at me. I laughed at her. "Thanks D." she hugged me.
I went to the bathroom and when I came back I found Samara putting on her pair of grey vans.
"What the hell are you doing?" I asked amused.
Samara looked up at me smirking "You didn't really think I was putting on heels right?"
"Aw come on Sam!" I whined. Couldn't she just wear the heels?
"D me and heels equal death, do you really want that to happen?" she laughed.
"I'm thinking about it." I muttered but she heard it and laughed.
"Nice to know you love me so much dear sister." she sarcastically replied.
