Atomic's Perspective-written by AtomicDaDragon
I am flying home, my black and green tail dragging on the pavement. My wings are tucked in, and my scales shining. I am done with all these pink and purple ''popular'' dragons making fun of my dark scales. They were calling me a freak for setting a bush ablaze.
I was going to burn them, but thought of my consequences with the High Council. I am scared. I'm landing in front of my home. I look at my sun-dial. It's 4:30 p.m. Dinner time. I am going to catch some cows for dinner to make steak with. YUM! I love steak.
I stare into the flames as the steak cooks. I think of the burning bush. The other dragons laugh and tease me. Half dragons are oppressed in dragon culture. And being an acid dragon, that's not helping. Acid dragons are rare and believed to be bad luck. I sigh, braiding my neon green hair mindlessly. Well, my stake is made and I'm very happy about that. I bite into it. Sooo good.
My Pet wolf-dragon, DarkSky is asleep in my lap. DarkSky was given to me by my boyfriend Ted. Ted is half dragon-wolf, an underrated species in my opinion. He has black wolf ears with black and green wings and a black and green wolf tail. Ted is in his cave right now because his pet PyroFox is hurt. He loves that thing more than anything!

I fire rounds out of my pistol onto a cherry tree. Owning a pistol is actually illegal, and could earn me a sentence in Mahr-Dun, the highest security prison in the world. So is getting a tattoo, for the same reasons. But I have one, a dragon, on my back so no one can see it.
Today I'm wearing a grey tank top with a black hoodie over it. Black skinny jeans and black lace up combat boots with spikes on them complete the look. My acid green hair is pulled up into a tight ponytail. My eyes glow red. My scales that look like black and green blotches on a canvas of cream colored skin glint in the sun.
As I prepare to fire more bullets, DarkSky flies around my head.
''DarkSky stop,'' I mutter. She refuses, blowing a tiny flame in my face. I hold my hand up. I try to shoot, and needless to say, I miss.
I don't hit the tree.
I hit Violet in the wing. She was one of the dragons teasing me about the burning bush.
An alarm goes off as she wails in agony. And, flying for my life, I take to the skies.

I shiver, huddling in the corner of a mountain cave. Lighting cuts across the sky. The rain pours out of a hole in the cave roof. I'm too weak to move, so I sit in the freezing cold puddle of sludge. I pulled on my hoodie, but it doesn't help much. The water burns.
I'm very tired. I flew fifty miles in two days. I still have the pistol, and I crafted a scythe out of wood last night.
I somehow manage to crawl away from the hole and curl up into a tight ball. My wings wrap around me to try and keep me warm. My scales are loosing their shine one by one because of starvation. Dragons starve very fast. And I'm cold...so very cold...
Wind whips my hair and tail. I'm colder than I was in the cave. I trod forward through the downpour. I am on a craggy hillside. The wind gets under my scales and chills me to the marrow in my bones.
Then the scene changes. I am in a field full of flowers. On one end of the field is a tall iron gate. On the other side is a wolf puppy. Then humans come with spears. Clouds cover the sun and the land is black. They throw the spears at me. One lodges under a patch of scales on my left arm. I scream, and fall to the ground.
The scene changes again. I see myself and two other half dragon girls, one with sea green hair and dark blue scales, and the other with fiery red hair and silver scales. We are in all black. I carry my pistol, the girl with sea green hair carries throwing knives, and the girl with silver scales has an axe. I gasp as we walk through a crowd of humans, killing carelessly. And then I wake up, banging my head on the roof of the cave.
The sun is out, which is a major improvement. I seem to have wiggled out of my hoodie. My grey tank is soaked with sweat.
DarkSky, who was curled up in a corner, yips and breaths out little puffs of smoke. I smile at her. She runs over to me, curling up in my lap. I smile.
I set off for the day, despite an ache in my wings. After flying for a few miles, I see a town on a cliff by the sea. My heart leaps. Maybe these people can help me! I swoop over to the town, and land outside it's borders.
The town is tiny, and seems to be nature dragon dominated. I knock on the door of one of the buildings, and a gruff looking nature dragon answers. Her face collapses when she sees me.
''You. In. Now,'' she commands. And she drags me and DarkSky into a dimly lit room. A figure is on the other end of the room. I gasp as she steps into the light. It's the girl from my dream! The one with sea green hair. She looks at me, and smiles.
''I've heard you were coming. Atomic, right,'' she asks. ''Y..yes,'' I stutter.
''Well nice to meet you too. I'm Serafina, and I'm just as confused as you.''
