I was now playing Call of Duty on my XBox One since I couldn't go to sleep. I was playing a little bit of My Chemical Romance while playing. I suddenly heard loud thunder outside, causing me to flinch in fear.
I got under my blanket and grabbed my lucky penguin. I then placed my attention back on the game as it started raining harshly. 'Gosh, what made Mother Nature mad tonight?'I thought.
*Ashton's POV*
I sighed as I looked up at my ceiling, deep in thought. 'I hope Rena got the flowers I thought her, but I hope she doesn't think I'm a weirdo..'I thought. I saw Will, my Great Dane, trot into my room.
He jumped up in the bed with me and laid down.I chuckled and placed my arm around him. I closed my eyes and fell asleep with Rena on my mind.
*Rena's POV*
"Rena? Can I come in? I have something for you."Valentine said while knocking on my door. "Yeah.."I mumbled while pausing the game. She came in, & I saw that she had red roses in her hand.
She gave them to me with a huge smile on her face. "Who are these from?"I asked. "If you read it you'll find out."She said as she walked out of my room.
She closed the door behind her, & I looked down at the flowers. 'Who would care to get me flowers?'I thought. I then saw a note, & it had the name 'Ashton Irwin' written in cursive on the front.
I cocked my head to the side and took it off of the flowers. I opened it and read it:
'Dear Rena, I heard that you've been having a few rough days. I sent you these to make you feel better, & my family and I made you and your sisters cookies.
I'm sorry if you think this is stupid, but I just wanted to make you feel better. I hope we can hang out one day, and I hope I can meet you. You seem like someone that I could understood... I've had rough times too..
Ashton'
I felt a small smile crept up on my face. 'I can't believe he--what am I thinking..'I thought angrily as I placed the flowers & the note on my dresser.I let out a breath and cut off my XBox.
'What if he does care?'I thought. I groaned in frustration since my emotions were acting up like usual. I closed my eyes, cuddled up with my penguin, and fell asleep with Ashton on my mind.
*9 hours later/11:30am*
I woke up, hearing the birds chirping loudly outside. I opened my eyes, but closed them tightly because of the very bright sunlight. After a few seconds, I opened my eyes again without closing them back.
I sat up and stretched while scratching the back of my head. I looked at the red roses on my dresser, & a week smile crept up on my face. 'I'll meet him now..'I thought.
I got up and sleepily walked over to my wardrobe. I looked around at my outfits, looking for a first impression wear. I decided to wear:

I grabbed everything I needed and went into the bathroom. I excitedly started to get ready, & to make it even better I played some Nirvana music. I got into the shower and started washing up.
*30 minutes later*
I walked out of the bathroom, hearing my heels click on every step I make. I walked out of my room and jogged downstairs. I walked out of the house and walked towards Ashton's house.
I walked up the stairs and stood in front of his door. I let out a long breath and looked down. 'Should I?'I thought.
I shook off the negative thoughts and knocked on the door. After a few seconds, I rang the doorbell. I heard someone coming down the stairs, & someone opened the door.
It was a hot guy with his shirt off, and he was very tired. "Are you Rena?"He said in a raspy Australian voice. "Yes, you must be Ashton."I said while looking down.
"Please, come in."He said. I walked in and looked around his house. It was very big, and it was probably as big as my house.
"You want some tea?"He asked as he put on a shirt. "Um,no thanks.. I just came to say hi, I'm sorry for not coming out yesterday."I said. "Ah, it's ok. I understand."He said.
"Where's the rest of your family?"I asked. "Oh,in the kitchen."He said. He took my hand, but I yanked it away from him.
"Sorry.."He mumbled."But follow me.."He added as he walked further into the house. I followed him while feeling sorry about taking my hand away from him.
We walked into the kitchen, & I saw a young girl and boy along with an older lady in the kitchen. They were cooking while listening to The Rolling Stones. They stopped everything they were doing and looked at me.
The young girl smiled and came up to me. "Hi,I'm Lauren. You must be Rena.."She said as she shook my hand. I felt slightly uncomfortable, but I softly shook it.
"Hi.."I said shyly. "I'm Ms.Irwin, I'm their mother. Did you enjoy the cookies I sent?"The older lady asked while smiling. "I actually haven't tried them yet, but I will once I get home."I said while adding a slight smile.
Ms.Irwin smiled. "Hey, I'm Harry. Do you wanna hang out sometime?"He asked while blushing and smiling. "Oh Harry, I'm too old for you."I said while chuckling.
He playfully pouted and crossed his arms. Ashton rolled his eyes and chuckled. "But show her around the house, I trust her."Ms.Irwin said.
Ashton nodded and looked over at me. "Follow me.."He said. I smiled and nodded. 'He's not that bad..'I thought.
