My Lovely Engineer

*Rena's POV*

"Rena!! Someone is here for you!"Someone shouted. I finished up with the car I was working on, & I stood up and walked into the shop. I saw Ashton with a leather jacket, some shades, black pants, and black boots.

I blushed and bit my lip. "Hey Ashton.."I said shyly. "Hey Rena, is it possible for you to check out my car?"He asked.

"Yes.. Drive your car into the working area, and I'll get to it once you pull it in."I said. He smiled and nodded. I quickly checked him out but walked off.

I heard his faint chuckle, causing me to blush in embarrassment. 'Why did I do that?'I thought while rubbing my arm. I walked back into the car shop area, & I saw Ashton pull up his car.

He turned it off and got out of his car. He came up to me and tilted my head up to face him. "I don't care if you check me out a bit, I always get that look from girls.."He teased.

I bit my lip and blushed again. "I'm just kidding, no one likes me.."He said. "But um, I have no clue what's wrong with my car. Can you just check it out for me?"Ashton asked.

I nodded. I rolled myself under Ashton's car and looked at it. I didn't see anything wrong, so it must've been in the hood.

I let out a breath as I thought about my old yet rude friend Calum. He betrayed me when the accident happened, and he moved away from me. We never talked ever since that day.

I shook off the thoughts and rolled out from under his car. I had a bit of oil on my stomach, but I had oil everywhere so it didn't bother me. "It's probably in the hood.."I said as I opened up the front of his car.

"Oh Ashton.."I said while letting out a laugh. "You've blown your gasket lad.."I said as I went in to fix it. Ashton came up and watched me, causing me to blush.

I suddenly felt his hand touch my butt, causing me to stop and look up at him. "Take your hand away from me."I playfully growled. He took his hand away from my butt, and I smiled and kept on working.

*30 minutes later*

"Ok, I fixed it up for you. I also changed your oil because the oil you had was slightly old. I won't charge you anything because well, your my friend. So your good to go."I said while smiling.

He smiled and hugged me softly. I hugged him back of course, & after a few seconds we pulled away. Gladly he had on black, because if not he would've had oil stains that are visible.

"So um, I'll see you when you get back from your job?"Ashton asked while smiling. I nodded. "Oh, and your last name is Lovelace?"Ashton asked.

I nodded. "I like that.."He said. I blushed."Thanks, I also like your last name Mr. Irwin.."I said.

He rolled his eyes and smiled, showing off his shiny teeth. "Mr. And Ms. Irwin stop talking, I need my girl to get back to work."My manager teased. I glared at him, and he just let out a laugh.

"But your car is out front, I'll walk you to it."I said. Ashton nodded and followed me. His car was shining in the sunlight, causing him to smile.

"Ew it's Rena!!"A few girls shouted from their car while waiting for the light to turn green. "Hey you!"A girl shouted towards Ashton. "I'd watch your back, she'd probably pull the trigger before you know it."She said while looking at me.

Ashton looked at me confused, but I was full of rage, sadness, and fear. "Hey! Drive along!"My manager shouted. The light turned green right when he said that, and they sped off.

I started crying, and John(the manager) pulled me into a hug. "You can go home love.."He mumbled. I nodded.

I pulled away from him and ran off to my car. I got into it, but then noticed that I didn't have my car keys. I hit the week of my car and started crying.

'What if Ashton leaves me?'I thought.

*Ashton's POV*

I was utterly confused about what just happened. 'Pull the trigger?'I thought. "Hey um, John?"I asked.

"Yes sir?"He asked with a frustrated look on his face. "May I ask a few questions about Rena?"I asked. His face then softened up a bit.

"Follow me."
