GARROTH'S POV (Yup, let's just say...)

I was just walking around near the forest, because it needed more guarding since there wasn't any gates yet. With Y/N being here, we had more chances for the shadows to attack us. Not that I thought Y/N was a danger to us. She was a really nice girl, and I would of never asked her to leave, because she was really helpful. I could see that she was really determined to help around.

I was feeling a bit down, just like the past days, because I still felt heartbroken. About the whole Aphmau being pregnant thing... Not that I'm not happy for her, it's just I still thought I would have a small chance when I came back from the Irene dimension, but I guess not. Things change... It had already been a few weeks since everyone knew about it. But still... Could I really move on?

Laurance seemed a bit less affected. Maybe he saw it coming, or maybe he just... is better at hiding it. I know there's something still broken in his heart, but compared to him, I'm a lot more in my thoughts, and it shows more. He seems a little bit better for the past days, even thought nothing major happened. At least my best friend is healing, that's what matters. He's like a brother to me, I don't want to see him hurt, and even if he was in competition to me, I want him to be okay.

Anyways, I didn't want to be selfish, but the pregnancy was what was mostly on my mind. I couldn't stop it.

Just as I was lost in thoughts, I heard someone walking up, but it came from the forest. I quickly hid, just to see who it was. A guy with black-brownish hair and really dark brown eyes came out of the forest. He just walked up to the village, but before he could come in, I jumped on him.

My sword was up to his throat. I looked at him, and he just looked back. He didn't seem too scared by the fact that I could probably end his life right there on the spot. Not that I would...

"Who are you? And WHY are you here?" I asked him, discreetly, so there wouldn't be a panic in the village.

"I'm Cade. I've came here because I'm searching for someone important to me. Could you possibly help me?" He asked. He seems pretty legit.

"I have to take you to my Lord. Then we'll see what we can do. Don't you DARE do anything stupid while you're here." I said. I wasn't sure we could trust him 100%.
