GARROTH'S POV
I walked out of my house and went to the path towards the guard tower, as the morning started. As I got closer, I noticed someone was already there sitting on the roof of the place. I finally identified the person as Laurance. He was looking at the sky and sighed to himself.
I decided to greet him and ask what he was doing.
"Laurance!" I shouted for him to hear me, when I was close enough. He turned his head towards me and waved with a smile on his face. He jumped down from the roof and landed close to me.
"Hey Garroth. Do you feel better?" He asked.
Yesterday, I felt sick so I decided to head back home. Or more like he forced me to go back.
"A lot better. What about you? Are you fine?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" He asked, cluelessly.
"I don't know, but why were you on the roof?"
"Felt like it, I guess... To be honest, there's not a real reason."
"Oh, I see." I said, nodding my head, still a bit confused.
As I was about to add something, I heard footsteps behind me, so I turned to look and saw Travis walking by. He smiled and stopped next to us.
"Hey guys!" He said.
"Hey!" Laurance and I answered.
"Were you coming for your patrol?" I asked Travis, raising my eyebrow. He nodded his head and I nodded back.
"I think you're supposed to be patrolling the portal today. By the way, Laurance, you don't have a patrol this morning." I said, turning to face Laurance.
"Wait, why?" He exclaimed.
"Because you took both your patrol and mine yesterday, so I'm taking yours today."
