LAURANCE'S POV

I waited for at least 3 hours. It was past midnight, but I wanted to be the first one to know when Y/N would be back.

But, inside, I knew that if she wasn't back by right now, she probably had something unexpected come up, or she was in DANGER.

Why am I still here waiting for her to come back, when I know she clearly is in danger! You know what, screw it, I'm going to search for her. I want to be there for her this time, not like last time with Travis. He could of hurt her by accident, even if I know he's not a bad guy. But Cade, I had that feeling about him. I don't know, he could hurt her. Plus, I wasn't even there when a shadow attacked her, I have to be there for her right now. Let's just go, I don't want her to be hurt!

I got up, went inside my house, quickly took a backpack I always had ready for an adventure, and ran back outside.

I ran through the forest, and I could slightly see some footprints, so I followed them.

GARROTH'S POV

~Time Skip To Morning Brought To You By Lilith The Cutie~

"He's not here, Garroth. Do you understand?" Aphmau asked me, in a panic.

"Yes, I understand. I've already sent everyone on a patrol to find him."

"The thing is that his backpack isn't there anymore, which means he probably wasn't kidnapped. He might have left on his own." I added.

"But why? He could be in danger with the shadows roaming around."

"Aphmau, do you remember that he was the one who took down all of those shadows, by HIMSELF, the other day. I don't know how he did it, but he must be strong."

"I guess..."

"Anyways, is Y/N back in the village?" I asked, because I didn't see her around. But, maybe if she came back during the night, she could of been quite tired. If she wasn't back, I might have an idea where Laurance would be.

"No. We haven't seen her. I asked everyone going on patrol if they could search for her too at the same time. I don't know what to do, I don't like it."

"Of course Laurance won't be here if Y/N isn't here..."I mumbled to myself. Aphmau must of heard, because she asked:

"What do you mean?"
