Prologue
Swoosh!!!!!
The ocean's waves rushed to my tail. I viciously hit the water with frustration. The memories haunted me. Being cursed was an execrable event for any mermaid to endure. I had no family nor friends. There was nothing for me here. The lonely sea sounded to be my only friend. It sang to my heart as it ached of sadness. The only light that made me happy was the little school I saw people at daily. Every night once the building near the sea would close and all people would vanish I'd get up on the rock and gaze at its majestic glory. I never thought or believed humans could create such a masterpiece. I yearned to be human. I did not how to become one but it was all I truly wanted. I loved the human life. The shore is lonely, but maybe it's just lonely for me, because I'm alone.
