"And what are you guys doing?" The production director questioned, his arms crossed over his chest. Jungkook exchanged glances with me.

We got up fast.

I am done for, he is going to chide me— I was entrusted to watch over Bangtan but instead, I am here with one of the members. I better have a great excuse or explanation to get out of this.

"Uhm, I-" I tried to speak up but Jungkook cut me off instantly. "She was dancing when I reached the practice room,"Jungkook tried to reason and the production director laughed.

"What are those frowns? Don't take it too serious," PD-nim laughed lightly while looking at us. "I saw her dancing too," He added and my jaw literally dropped.

Right now— would be the ideal time for me to vanish into thin air.

"You have trained in YG once, right?" He spoke up and my eyes widened. He actually noticed that in my curriculum vitae? I tried to come back to my sense and eventually said, "Ah, yes." I bowed.

"Do you want to become a trainee at Bighit?" He showed of his teeth, smiling widely. I was utterly surprised and I could not understand. I couldn't even move from the spot. "Excuse me?" I stuttered, clearing my throat.

"That would be cool, Haena! You should try it out," Jungkook suggested and I smiled at him through gritted teeth. I could tell that he's excited, even more than me. "I would rather n—" I was about to reject the offer because of my low self-esteem, but Jungkook suddenly interrupted, "She's going to." My mouth widened. "Yah—"

"Though, you would have to compete," PD-nim said firmly and my expression darkened. I do not want this again. Competition sucks. Jungkook glanced at me and I tried to smile at him back, in order not to worry him.

"Of course, there are many trainees under the company. But only the qualified ones are going to debut," He clarified and all I could do was giving him a slow and simple nod. "There won't be any cameras, we just have to see your monthly evaluations and choose," He explained and I stiffened. "Can you handle that? You could still change your mind," A question popped in my head, was he testing me?

"No, it's fine. I'm going to try my best," I tried to ensure and bowed my head. Jungkook smiled and nudged me with his elbow.

"That's great, but your profession as a stylist will still stay the same." He said and I rolled my eyes with a petite smile. "Yes, I understand," I replied.

There was no schedule for BTS today which meant I had to get to school. So, I packed the things together I would need later. Seokjin walked up to me and I got startled. "Going to school?" He questioned and raised an eyebrow. "Should I give you a ride? Jungkook's heading there too," He added and I was surprised. "Really?" I asked and then I sighed the moment he nodded his head in response. The rest would be short lived. The school is going to turn into a bargaining market, once again.

"Morning," Jungkook greeted as he stumbled through the door. "Let's get to school," He suggested, so we walked out of the building. "You know you won't be able to roam around there, right?" While stepping into the car, I asked him just to clarify. "Hm, but I miss my classmates," He pouted so suddenly.

"The director gave you permission?" I asked him again and he turned to look at me. "Of course he did," He smiled and Seokjin started the engine. I remained quiet throughout the whole ride and told Seokjin before we got to the school grounds to drop me off first. I would not want some students to pester me about their favorite idols who just gave me a ride to school.

I headed for the entrance gates and made sure to get through the corridors. I entered the classroom and searched for the seat that had been assigned to me. I slumped down in my seat that was located right beside the window— and sighed at the commotion that had erupted.

The female students started to take pictures of them both. I shrugged and placed my head down on the table. Someone nudged me on the arm and I raised my head to see Hyemin wave her hands in front of my face.

"You have decided to return?" She initiated a conversation and I scratched the back of my head. "I'm sorry," I apologised and she smiled. "It's alright. Your workplace was supposed to be a secret, right?" She asked me and I nodded. "It's great that I am going to see you more often now," She smiled and got out of her chair. She ambled to the window and sighed. "And Jungkook too!"

"Yah, not so loud! People w—" I almost shouted but she reassured and waver her hand, heading out of the classroom as Jungkook tried to escape from the human horde. "Yeah, yeah,"

The commotion died down as the teacher made his entrace into the classroom and started the lesson.

"Haena!" Hongseok slammed his hands on the locker next to mine and I shut my eyes close. "Want to grab some lunch together?" He asked smilingly. "You are too loud, and you scared me." I softly knocked the side of his head. "I am sorry," He said as he made a sullen expression.

"It's alright. And I have already eaten, just go ahead with Hyemin," I explained as I unlocked my lock and put my books into my locker. "Hm, okay," He replied, finding something from his bag. "Here, drink this." He gave me an orange juice and I gladly accepted it.

Then I marched through the corridors until something— or someone caught my attention. I leaned against the lockers and observed them.

"What is so good about that Jungkook?"

"There's no reason for those girls to overreact, he's just average,"

"He's just an idol for the fame and money,"

Angry, I opened the orange juice and decided to walk out from the lockers and bumped that girl's shoulder that it's spilled all over her sleeve."Oops," I blurted out. "Yah, watch where you are going!" She hissed furiously.

"I apologize, it wasn't my intention," I cleared my throat, and about to walk away when she pushed my shoulder slightly. "Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yeah—" I replied, but she cut me off by griping my wrist tight that her nails dug to my skin. I do know that it's painful, but I just don't want to shout or scream. I tried to break away but she gripped my wrist harder.

For a few seconds, a voice interrupted us and a hand removed my wrist from that girl's grip. "Let go of her wrist," He spoke firmly and I was afraid to even turn around to see who it was.

I recognized his voice instantly. Ugh, I'm in trouble.
