Chapter 1 - Human

There's whispers that there's a new chick in town. A human. Like I care. Vamps here may live off of animal blood because there's no other drinkable blood here but I shouldn't care about a human showing up. She stays away from me and I wont eat her. I was dragged out of my thoughts by the words scribbled in red across my front door. TRAITOR. I growled. I punched the door and the door went flying inside. I look and see Cias sitting on the couch. "Well hello to you too little sister." he says and I throw my bag on the floor. "They did it again! Did you see!" I yelled at my brother who seemed completely chill with the scenario. "Yep I did. I was planning on cleaning it before you got home, but now we just need a new door." he says and I growl. I've had enough of this. I flop down on the couch next to him. "Did you hear about the new chick. The human?" I ask him and he nodded. "Good eating." he says and I scoff. I snatch the beer out of his hand and take a sip. He snatches it back. "Your under age missy." he says as he takes another sip and I scoff, "yeah cause a sixteen thousand four hundred and thirty three year old who heals extremely fast is gonna get wasted and do something stupid." I say as I grab my bag and walk upstairs to my room. I throw my bag down next to my bed and lay down on my bed. I put my headphones in and listen to my music. Blocking out the world where my family are traitors. Thanks a lot dad. Cursing our family name. Soon the new girl will be at supernatural high. She better stay out of my road. I may be a vampire princess but we don't exactly have castles or anything but I still have the temper of a vampire princess. She fucks with me, I will have human blood for lunch.

"Sephina I'm fine." I say to my worried friend. I pulled my car in park on the side of the road and roll my eyes. "I know Lily. But where are you going now?" She asked. She is such a worry wort. "I don't know yet Seph. But I'm going to keep looking. I got to go, I promise to call later." I could hear her smile. She clicked off and I went back into my little blue bug and pumped my music. I've been on the road for 3 years searching for my real parents. Well only parents. I started searching when I was 14. That's when I was kicked out of the orphanage. Sighing I popped my sunglasses on and headed south.

On the journey I ended up near some town. This town though, has a strange vibe. The sun isn't so bright here and well it just feels so weird. Stopping at the side of the road I pulled out a journal. My father's journal. Don't ask me how I got this cause I don't either. I searches the pages and stopped at a map. I'm here and... This place is a small town. I think I should check this out. And keep my cover. So if I'm gonna stay here I have to go to school. I haven't been to school. I've never had too. I was way to smart. Well smart as I can get. Putting it away I headed towards this town. I wonder what its going to be like. I haven't actually stayed in one place. I got to an apartment place. I could stay here for a while. Let's say I'm loaded. I laughed to myself. Yeah well I'm a criminal. I'm surprised I haven't been caught. I guess its because they don't expect a innocent looking 17 year old to steal or be a criminal. I jumped out and grabbed my bag and headed inside. A lady with red hair and weird coloured eyes looked up at her desk. Everyone in the room was looking at me. Is it cause I'm different? Smiling like a polite person I went to the front desk. "Hi I was wondering to rent an apartment here." I said to her being cautious of the stares. I got my wallet out and read for buying or whatever. The lady gave a tight smile. "Sure. We have one available now. Did you want to check it out?" I beamed. Thank god, cause I need sleep. And my laptop needs charging. "Yes please." I said still smiling. She got up off her seat and motioned me to follow. Shrugging the bag over my shoulder I followed her up some stairs. The eyes on everyone burning holes in my back. "Here you are room 4001." She said and unlock the door. The door opened to show a fairly sized apartment. A kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and living room. Well I could take this. I turned towards the lady. "I'll take it." I handed her 1000 cash. She was shocked. I smiled. "Thanks miss...?" I giggled a little. "Its Lilyana Jice." The lady's eyes widened. "Your that chick." My eye brows rose. That chick. What the hell does she mean. Shaking my head I took the keys and walked inside. "Thanks again." I said and turned. But the strangest thing happened. She wasn't there. Shivering I closed the door and wondered around. I loves the colours. And everything was already here. The furniture and supplies. And heck, there were some clothes my size. This is just freaky. Way too freaky. I smelt my self and cringed. I smell. I walked into my new room and chucked the bag on the bed and stripped. The shower was nice and hot. I moaned and washed myself. So good.

As I was getting changed my phone beeped. Who would text me.
Lilyana its Sephina. I won't be able to text or call you anymore. Your bad news.
Bad news. What the fuck. One minute we are friends and now she doesn't want to talk to me. Great now I'm a loner. Sighing I jumped on the bed and pulled out my laptop.

S.p high ha. Well this is this only school here for me to go to. I just have to fill out a form when I start which would be tomorrow. Smiling at satisfaction I smiled and closed my eyes. I need this sleep. I'm so tired.

Today is going to be so fun. (Note the sarcasm). I put my jeans on and went to the bathroom. My dirty blonde hair was a mess. Sighing I brushed my hair and combed my bangs. Let's do this.
I locked up and went downstairs. The eyes on my again. Weirdo's. I got in my car and headed through town to the school. Everyone wondering about stopped to stare at me. What is it with people staring. Maybe cause they aren't use to strangers. Shaking it off I got to a massive school. Its not like I'm gonna get lost. I've been traveling whole country. The school was already in session. Well I'm late. I got out and went to the office just inside. No one was in the halls either. I got to the office and saw a few office lady's at the desk. They were all so pale. Did they even go outside. Or go to the beach. "Hi I'm new, I was suppose to fill out some papers." They lady's looked up and I almost jumped at the colour of their eyes. Black or red. Shaking the bad vibe I politely smiled. "You must be Lilyana Jice." I nodded and she handed me a clipboard. I signed it all and she handed me a timetable. And locker code. "English Mr Dark." I said. I smiled at the lady and went through the halls. Where are you Mr Dark. Its room 206. Ah there. I walked over to the opened door to reveal a loud class. They all stopped talking and yelling when I walked in. I'm getting pretty sick of these people fucking staring at me. A cough came from the front. I rolled my eyes and handed him my timetable. "Lilyana Jice. Take a seat at the back." He said and gave me back my time table. I heard some whisper. "Why is a human here." "She looks delicious, haven't human in centuries." Aren't they human too. I got to the back and saw a empty seat at the back. I dropped my bag and pulled my books out. Everyone was watching me. I raised my eye brows and they all turned towards the front. Okay then. I caught one girls eye. She was glaring at me. The look stay the fuck away from me bitch look. I gave her a mocking smile and put my headphones in. I don't even know why I'm doing this. 3 years and I haven't found my parents and I end up here. This town full of weirdos staring at you. God help me.
