Chapter 8 - Hells back on Earth

Faith
"HELP ME!" Lily screamed. I ran up and grabbed Cias. I threw him and he slammed into a wall. I bit my wrist and pushed it against Lilys mouth. "Drink or I swear I will end you myself!" I tell her and my blood pours into her mouth. I pull my wrist away when she is healed and turn to face my brother. "Thats...your father" she mutters. "My fathers dead Lily just shut it okay" I tell her as my brother stands up. I begin muttering a small spell to figure out whats going on with my brother. Cias begind twitching and shaking. I watch as my brother changes and stops on one figure. A man I believed to be dead. "Father..." I mutter and I look at the man standing before me. "Hello Faith." he says and I step back. "No...it cant be...you're dead!" I said and he smiles. "Your brother gave me a nice place to rest" he says and I growl. "I'll send you back to hell!" I scream and run at him. I use magic to slam him against a wall and I begin lunching him. I use magic to make my hits more powerful. My father brings his arm up and rips the necklace from my neck. "No!" I scream and go to hit him again. He easily pushes me back sending me flying. "You can't beat me Faith" he says and crushes the necklace. "See you soon" he says and disappears. I run over to Lily and pick her up.

We finally got back to Hex's place. "HEX I NEED YOU!" I yell. Hex was nowhere to be found. "HEX!" I call again. I lie Lily down on the couch and go running upstairs. I slam open the door to Hex's study and find him lying in the floor. Blood was splatted across the floor. I see two bodies on the floor. Hexs wife and Pearl. "NO!" I scream and run up to them. Both girls dead. Tears began running down my cheeks. "F...Faith" I hear someone mutter. I turn to see Hex leaning against the door frame. He was covered in blood, scratches, bite marks. He fell to the floor. "HEX!" I yell and run up to him. I fall to my knees beside him and rest his head on my knees. "No no no. Here" I say as I bite my wrist. "Drink" I order the dying Hex but he pushes my hand away. "No...Faith..dont...it won't heal me..."he says and coughs up some blood "Hex.." I mutter but he stops me. "Pro...protect..her..." he says. "Sta..station seven...code...nine.. seven..three..seven...one" he mutters. "Hex..." I say with tears filling my eyes. "Stay...strong" he mutters and I watch as his eyes stop glowing. "Hex...HEX! DONT YOU DARE LEAVE ME!" I scream at him tears running down my face. "Stations seven. Code nine seven three seven one...I'll protect her Hex. I promise" I tell the lifeless body. I stand up and walk back downstairs. "Lily get up, we have to go somewhere"

We show up at station seven. Hex's secret lair. "Where are we Faith?" Lily askd and I look at the door. "State code" a voice command orders. "Nine seven three seven one" I speak back and the door unlocks and opens. "Welcome Hex Charmcast" the voice command respondes. I walk insife to see Jade crying in her crib with a massive spell book. I run over and pick her up. "Hey Jade. Hex must have teleported you here to protect you." I tell the small child. "Faith what happened to Headmaster Hex?" She asks and I turn to face her. "Hes dead" I tell her as I pick the spell book up in my other arm. "You can have the bedroom. I don't need to sleep. Kitchens over there. Help yourself" I tell her as I sit down on the couch. I sway Jade in my arms, singing a song my mum used to sing to me when I was little. "Hush little baby, please don't cry, you're not alone, please just try, close your eyes and rest your head, I'll protect you from now till death" I sing to her. She calmly falls asleep in my arms. I'll protect her Hex.

Lilyana
I watched as Faith walked away. This is all my fault. A stupid human shows up and ruins everything. Sighing I walked into the small kitchen. I went to the fridge and opened it. Mmm food. I grabbed the closest thing and stuffed my mouth. I'm so hungry. But I better save some for Faith and the baby she's taking care of. I wonder who's in League with Faiths father. And why do I have to be stuck in the middle of their family crisis? I'm just a human orphan trying to find my so called parents. Answers to why they never wanted me. That's what bothers me. While staying at the Vivian's orphanage no one wanted me. Ever since I was born my parents didn't want me and neither did anyone else. So the owner who thought it would be wise to kick me out cause I wasn't getting taken. I had no home, no friends and no family. Lucky me aye. Rolling my eyes I made the baby some warm milk and a sandwich for me. I walked in to a room with a couch and a fire. Faith cradled the baby. "Hey got some warm milk for the baby." Faith turned. I handed her the bottle and she fed it to the baby. I scratched my head. "You... You okay?" She growled and glared up at me. "You don't need to worry about me, more yourself got it." More of a statement. Got it. I nodded and went to wonder around the place. I ended up walking to a double door. I pushed it open. It was a library. But it didn't have any ordinary library with just any books. The books had different languages or runes on them. Spells. This where Headmaster Hex practised. Wait Faith said something like everyone can do magic. I can help. I'm not so useless then. I picked up a book from the shelf. I sat down on on one of the chairs and read through the pages. Hours of reading I felt my eyes flutter close.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!" I jolted awake and stood up from the chair. Faith stood across the room with a scrawl on her face. "I... Ah... I... I look... Looked around and... And found... Found myself... Myself here. I'm... I'm sorry." I said and bowed my head. I walked past her. She didn't bother saying anything except growling. Well that was fun. Never doing that again.
