Chapter 22 - The choices

I sat up against the wall listening to the loud noise from downstairs. Justin went outside the door and waited for the intruder. "Alerik... Where's Faith?" He turned from the door and gave me a sympathetic face. "She's fine. Don't worry." I wanted to slap that stupid face. He's lying to me. Why does everyone have to keep lying to me. "Stop... I'm not... A... Baby." I choked out. He frowned and was about to come over to me but Justin came flying in the room and smashing into the wall. I winced. A dark laugh came walking in. Kalous. I squirmed into the wall and wish I could disappear. Alerik charged for Kalous but Alerik was thrown into the wall. He went unconscious. Kalous turned to me and grinned. "There you are my little Lily. You look awful." Tears brimmed my eyes. He did this to me. Caused me to die. I slowly walked away from him. He shook his head and walked forward, crowding me and making me back into the wall. "Leave... Us... Alone... And give... Back... Faith." I breathed out. Its so hard to talk. "Sorry no can do. I'm giving you some choices here little Lily." Choices my ass. "One you can either stay here and die or you can come with me, be my slave and not die. Your choice." What choice did I have? I'm gonna die here. Alerik groaned from the wall. Tears leaked from my tired eyes. "Lily don't, don't do it." I really don't have a choice. I don't want to die. "Okay." I said softly. Kalous beamed. "Great! Let's go!" He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. I felt my head going light. I heard car doors open and I was thrown into a car. I groan and try to sit up but my energy was very low. "Lily!" I peeled my eyes open and tries to focus. Faith was on the other side of the car seat. I moved towards her. "Faith..." I whispered. I really had no energy. Laughing came from the front seats. "Aw poor Lily." Jyrax mocked. I wanted to punch him. I lied down and closed my eyes.

I woke on a cold hard floor. I couldn't move. Except my head. Everything else was paralyzed. Where am I. I looked around and noticed I was in a cage. "FAITH!!!" I yelled. Where is she? Key jingling was sounded at the cage. "You son of a bitch let us go!" Faith. Faith is here. She was pushed inside my cage. She kicked the cage and screamed. "Faith..." I whispered but knew she could hear me. Faith turned and ran towards me. "Oh my god Lily. Are you okay? Oh my god I'm so sorry." She said with tears spilling down her cheeks. "I... Can't move." I said sobbing.

"Come on Kalous, at least let me play with one of them. The human or your daughter I really don't care. I'm just bored." I said as Kalous poured himself a drink. "Wait for Faith to give a little bit of her energy to Lily. Shes not very smart. Shes just craving being fed on. Any of them could have fed on her and she'd be back to normal. Faith should have paid more attention to me" Kalous said. He placed his drink down and held his head. "Shut up Cias!" He yelled and I knew Faiths brother was trying to climb back out. "I need more human blood. We need her now. You can have my daughter just bring me the human!" Kalous yelled. I zoomed down to the small cage sitting in the dungeon of the castle. "Come on little Lily, your master wants a sip" I said and she shyed away. Faith stood up as tall as she could. "You wont touch her" she said and I sighed. "You dont learn do you?" I asked as Jeramiah zoomed in and grabbed Faith, holding her as I grabbed Lily. "Bring her to my room please father. I'll be there soon" I said as I picked Lily up and zoomed her back upstairs. Faiths gonna pay for what she did to me.
