Chapter 24 - Like hell she is

"LILY!" I hear Alerik scream as my cousins life slowly begins to fade.I glare at my father who was rolling in the floor and about to get up. I raise my hand and then lower it again. My father struggles to get up as I use magic to weigh him down. "Say hi to Jyrax in hell for me would ya" I said as I opened the book and found the spell to counter possession " Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas, omnis incursio infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, omnis congregatio et secta diabolica. Ergo, omnis legio diabolica, adiuramus te" I said as my father screamed in pain. I watched as my fathers spirit left my brothers body. I watched as it was dragged down and it then disappeared. Cias began coughing and gasping for air. I didnt know if its really Cias or not. He stands up and looks at me. "Well," he says as he rubs his head, "its pretty disgusting to think that my dad was inside me" he said and I laughed. Thats definitely Cias. I run up to him and wrap my arms around his neck. I dont think id ever wanted to hug my brother so much. "Hey little sister" he said and I hugged him tighter. "HATE TO BREAK UP THE REUNION FAITH BUT LILYS STILL DYING!" Alerik yelled. Cias smiled. "I know how to save her" Cias said and he walked over to Lily. He kneels down beside her brings his hand over her heart. "May I little sister?" Cias asked looking at Hex's necklace that still wrapped around my neck. I nodded and brought the necklace over my head and passed it to my brother. Cias wrapped the necklace around his hand and whispered soft words to himself. I listened as Lily's heartneat grew faster and faster until she sat up, opened her eyes and gasped for air. She took one look at Cias and punched him in the face. "You stupid Vampire pig!" She screamed and Alerik grabbed her before she could do much more damage. I ran up to Cias and helped him up. "Lily, this id your other cousin Cias. Not Kalous" I said as Cias rubbed his nose. "Nice right hook cuz" he said and lilys face softened a little. I look around at the small family around me. I looked around and noticed that the wolves had disappeared. I looked at the others. "Lets go home" Justin said and I nodded. Good idea.

That night, I walked in Faiths room to see Faith rocking on the chair telling the baby Jade a story. "and so, the evil king was destroyed, leaving the human princess to be with her cocky prince, the two vampire siblings reunited and the childhood friends back to normal. They got to go home to their family and everyone was happy" she said to the baby who was fast falling asleep. "Just childhood friends huh?" I said and Faith looked up from where she sat. "We're nothing more...are we?" She said looking at the floor then back up at me. "No...no of course not" I said trying to hide my disappointment. I walked in and saw the beautiful baby girl sleep in the exotic vampires arms. "Can you take her downstairs please?" Faith asked and I nodded and picked up the baby. I walked downstairs to see Lily making out with Alerik on the couch. He's hand slowly traveled up her thigh. I smirked. "Not in front of the baby you two" I said and they broke apart guiltily. I laughed and sat down with them. "Can I hold her?" Lily asked and I smiled and passed her the giggling baby who no longer seemed tired. Witches and their energy. "I'll be back in gonna go check on Faith" I said and headed back upstairs. I knock on the door to see Faith asleep on the chair. I smiled and picked her up bridal style as I carried her over to her bed. I lay her down gentle and she cuddled up to the pillow. I smiled and wiped the hair from her face. I pulled the blankets up, kissed her forehead and stayed sitting beside her. After a while she began stirring in her sleep. "Faith" I said as she began tossing and turning. I was about to wake her when she awoke terrified. "Faith whats wrong?" I asked as I rubbed her back. She put her head in her hands and I felt her body shaking. "Its not over" she said fear filling her voice, "theres someone else. Another vampire who wants the throne...who wants me."
