Rey's head hurt, a lot. From the excited yells of the castle staff to the constant "Lady Rey! Lady Rey!" If she heard her name one more time she would go insane.

The servants had braided her hair extravagantly with jewels and flowers. She wore a long white gown that covered her feet. It was encrusted with jewels and the corset that went with it was so tight, Rey thought she'd die before she even made it to the alter.

"Lady Rey you look absolutely breathtaking."

"Thank you." Rey gave the girl a curt nod before making her way to her father.

"Oh Rey, my little girl, you're getting married."

"I know. I'll miss you father."

"Don't worry about me, you have a husband to wed." He smiled at her. "Also Poe will be accompanying you." The King gestured to the man walking into the room.

Rey gave Poe a small smile before going to hug her father. "Goodbye father."

"Goodbye Rey."

She soon made her way to the dock with Poe at her side. "Are you ready?" He squeezed her hand.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Rey managed a small smile before boarding the ship. She was led away to her room, a simple space with a bed and a dresser. The trip to Finn's kingdom wasn't that long.

"Are you alright Rey?"

"I'm fine Poe, just thinking." She glanced out the ship window, her eyes scanning over the glimmering crystal blue waters.

"About what?"

"Nothing important."

"It my be important if you're letting it disrupt your wedding day."

"Can you close the door?"

Poe nodded and closed the door behind him.

"Well Poe, I don't have feelings for Finn and I don't know about this."

"Do you have much of a choice?"

"No." Rey sighed. "It's just a thought."

"Okay, do you want me to stay with you?"

"No it's fine, go rest in your room, I'm okay."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

He nodded and reluctantly left her room. As she watched him close the door, Rey sighed. She might as well get some sleep in.

Rey woke up breathing hard and to the sounds of screams. She slowly creeped open her door, watching as the crew screamed and ran around wildly.

Her hand reached for the dagger she had hidden in her dress. She had taken it from Poe when he wasn't looking.

A few moments later the screams quieted down and Rey crept around, listen to the shuffle of feet.

"Who's there?" Her voice cracked in fright. She pointed the dagger out into the air.

"I said who's there?"

There was no response. Suddenly from behind her came a man with a covered face and a big sword,

"Who are you? Get away!" Rey backed up slowly, swinging the dagger wildly in the air.

The man crept closer to her, grabbing at her wrists.

"Get away!" Her voice went hoarse.

Rey soon felt a sharp pain in her head before everything faded to black.
