Chapter 12

A/N: School finally ended some time ago so I will definitely have more time to update stories :)

When she got into bed later that night all she could think about was the feel of Ren's arms around her waist and the surprisingly gentle touch of his lips against her skin. Rey shivered in the moonlight, and tossed and turned relentlessly in her bed. It was like that for a few moments until she finally gave up trying.

It was quite late in the night and most were probably still resting for the ship was eerily silent. Tired and delusional, she made her way out of her cabin and down the hall, towards someone else's.

What are you doing Rey? You're tired at least go back to try to get rest. You do not want to do this! You don't!

Despite the screams of common sense echoing through her mind she still felt herself drawn towards the room to —

"Rey..." she heard someone breath out her name in shock. "What are you still doing up?"

"I could be asking you the same thing."

"What are you doing outside my cabin?"

Rey didn't speak, she didn't know what to answer to that for she didn't even have an answer for herself. She looked up to meet his eyes and found himself staring down at her, his gaze unwavering.

"I don't know..."

As the words came falling out of her mouth something seemed to change in Ren and Rey found herself bringing her gaze back down to her feet.

Suddenly she felt the touch of a gloved hand pushing up her chin slowly and soon she felt herself meet his eyes once again. The electricity of his touch burning her skin, turning her cheeks red.

They stayed like that for a mere moment before Ren crashed his lips onto hers.

He just kissed me.

Rey froze in place, and her body refused to move.

He's kissing me.

After a mere moment he pulled away abruptly, a look of embarrassment apparent on his face.

"I must've misread that..."

Rey didn't say anything, trying to come up with some logical explanation in her mind. It didn't seem to work out for instead she pulled him by the back of his neck and kissed him back. She felt an arm wrap tightly around her waist and a hand move up and down her back roughly then through her hair, letting it fall out of its buns.

His mouth was warm and soft against hers and Rey soon became putty in his arms. Ren pulled away slowly from her and almost smiled. From behind him he managed to maneuver the door to his cabin open, once the knob was turned he grabbed Rey up in his arms once again and kissed her hard on the mouth. Pulling her closer to him he pushed her down onto the bed in his room, sending kisses down her neck.

An alarm went off in her head and Rey wanted to scream out for it all to stop but her body was refusing to listen to her internal common sense. Instead she allowed Ren to kiss her and allowed him to make her feel as if she was on fire.

This isn't you Rey!

Those words echoed in her mind and she, once again, didn't listen. Instead she continued to kiss him back and let her nightgown come off her slender body.

The next morning she awoke in a bed, the memories from last night fuzzy in her mind. Ren was gone and probably left some time ago so Rey found herself alone.

Sighing, she pulled herself up and started to throw her now wrinkled nightgown back onto her body. In a shuffle she walked out of the room quickly and back into hers, almost hyperventilating.

When she finally returned to the safety of her cabin Rey didn't realize the breath she was holding in until she was able to finally breath again.

She was going insane.

Stupid Ren.
