"y/l/n!" y/n rolled her eyes when she heard the familiar voice.

"what do you want iero?" she asked as he turned around, then crossing his arms against his chest and sighing as she watched frank iero walk up to her.

it was a friday afternoon; and after a long week, it was finally the weekend. she couldn't be more excited about it. she always looked forward to the weekends. she was certainly very good at all subjects, but just didn't like school... not one bit. it's not that school was bad... she just didn't like it. she wasn't the most popular kid in school but she also didn't care about popularity. she had a couple friends that she could talk to whenever she was bored and that's all that she needed in her life.

but, frank iero was different than she was. frank iero was one of the most popular kids in school. everybody knew who he was; they either loved him or hated him. she was one of those people who didn't like frank. she just thought he was quite annoying and obnoxious and didn't like his attitude one bit. so she tried to stay away from him as much as possible. the only problem was that frank had a huge crush on y/n and was always flirting with her and playfully hitting on her. she always pushed him away though and denied him.

"wow. someone's in a mood today," frank said as he walked up to her. she rolled her eyes. "i just want to go home," she said."i was just gonna ask you... do you want to hang out this weekend?" frank asked.

"why would I want to do that?" she asked. the last thing she wanted to do was spend more time with frank than she had to. she wished frank would just get the picture that she didn't like him and didn't want to be around him... at all. she just didn't trust him. "oh, come on. i always try to talk to you and you turn me down," frank said. "that's because i have better things to do in my time," y/n snapped.

frank was a little taken back by y/n snapping at him. frank wasn't used to people turning him down like this but y/n always turned him down and as punk as he was, it hurt him a little. frank didn't know what he did to make her hate him so much like this. "wow." frank whispered.

y/n sighed as she stared at frank, feeling slightly bad for snapping at him but he couldn't help himself. "look, i'm sorry, okay? i don't have time for this... i have to go. my mom's waiting for me at home," she whispered. she turned back around and walked away from frank.

it was a couple hours later when y/n was going to the grocery store for her mother. luckily he didn't live that far away from the town's grocery store, which was always nice. she liked that everything was close together in this town. it was small but nice.

she had just finished getting all of the groceries for her mother and had just paid. she walked out of the grocery store, holding the two bags of groceries in his hands. He looked up and frowned when she saw that the sky was grey, which meant that it was going to rain later.
"grandma, don't worry about it! i'll take care of it. it'll only take a few seconds," y/n blinked a few times when she heard the familiar voice.

she looked over and was surprised when she saw none other than frank iero, who seemed to be with his grandma at his car. y/n froze as soon as he saw frank look up and stare right back at him. "oh, uhm... y/n?" frank asked, a little surprised to see her there.

"um..." she nervously looked around him, not knowing what to say. "what are you doing here?" frank asked as he shut the trunk to his car.

"oh, um... i-i was just getting some groceries for my mom," she said, holding up the bags she was holding. she looked back at frank. "what are you doing here?"

"is this the y/n girl that you're always talking about?" frank's grandma asked. "grandma!" frank groaned and hid his face in his hands, his face going bright red. "wow, really? you talk about me?" she asked, a little more interested.
