Your boyfriend, Frank had been on tour with his band 'My Chemical Romance' for the past few months now and the night of his return had finally come. You were excited to see him and had decided to stay up until he got back at around 4am. Bad idea. Considering the fact that you had the attention span of a goldfish so couldn't get into any shows properly and that you hardly ever slept anyway, this plan was doomed from the beginning. The warmth of the blanket that you were snuggled in enticed you as the flickering flame of the vanilla scented candle placed on the small table next to you filled your brain with smoky haze and thoughts of precious slumber. In all honesty, it was becoming too much. As excited as you were to see the love of your life, Mr Frank Iero, return from tour, nothing could ever beat sleep. It was simply your number one priority, therefore you decided to pen a quick note, informing Frank as to why you were sprawled out on the couch in a purple kids blanket marked with teddy bears and love hearts.
'To my Dearest Frankie Baby;
As you know, I am a lazy ass and I simply do not contain the willpower to stay awake and wait for your ass to get home.Lots of love,
The crazy person sleeping on the couch xxx
You wrote in sloppy handwriting, slowly slipping out of consciousness. Sleep eventually took over and you burrowed into your blanket and floated away to dream-land.

I tossed my keys into the bowl with a jingle as I entered the front door, carefully closing it behind me and calling out for y/n. She told me that she'd wait up for me, yet she was nowhere to be seen and the house was quieter than my social life. Walking through the hallway, I entered the lounge and heard faint breathing. I looked down onto the sofa to find a ball of y/n, wrapped up cosily in a lilac kiddy blanket. She looked like a child, all wrapped up, and I brushed some stray strands of hair out of her face as she scrunched her nose but didn't awake. God, I love her. I chuckled as I scanned the note that she'd left for me, then I slid my hands under the blanket and lifted her up from the couch, carrying her into our bedroom, where I laid her down. I placed a small kiss on her forehead, smiling as I clambered into the bed, lying next to her. She rolled over and wrapped her slim arms around my neck, pulling me closer as I held her waist.
"Welcome home, baby" y/n whispered, groggily into my ear, just before she completely passed out, exhausted.
In my mind, I secretly wished that we'd stay together for as long as possible, as I knew I was falling in love with y/n...and hard.
