Chapter 3
I turn my amber colored horse to the east. Towards my brother. I feel the wind past through my hair. I hear the grunts and groans of a battle. Than the sound of metal being taken out. I silently scream at my horse to go faster. As I turn the corner I hear metal against metal. God. Robin against Guy. I pull out the daggers from my hair, my hair falling onto my shoulders. I gallop my horse towards Gisborn, having the reins in one hand and a dagger in the other. I aim and throw the dagger at his back. The devil saves him this time as he turns and the blade lands in his arm. Robin seeing his chance kicks Guy in the face. The fool falls to the ground. I trot my horse behind Robin, the other dagger aimed.
"Fools. You're father will be dead and be sent to rot in hell." Guy says.
"You'll get there first." Robin says, punching Guy again in the face. This time we hear the breaking of his nose.
"He wont get up.." Says Robin, looking up at me. "I told you to spilt up."
"Well without me I bet you wouldnt be here." I say, crossing my arms.
"I'm glad you did."
I help my sibling up onto my horse as we ride deeper into the forest.
"Now what?" I ask after a few moments of riding.
"We can't go back. Guy will be thinking we will there. We can stay here in the forest."
"But.. Won't we be considered outlaws?"
"I think we already are."
"Oh."
I never thought about being an outlaw. I guess we are now since we fought and beat someone who presses the law . Sensing my un easy feelings Robin messes my hair.
"Everything will be alright."
"I hope so."

~ Later that night

I sit with my legs presses against my chest, my navy colored cloak pulled around me. Robin is leaning against a tree. He stares into the fire with a blank expression. We went to Marian's home and Robin went in for only a few moments. He told me he asked her to meet us here in the forest so we could talk. That happened a while ago. She said our father is to be put to death tomorrow when the sun is risen above the castle. We haven't talked since. I look up to the stars, searching for mother. She died when I was only 3. Robin was 5. It shocked our family. Not only making us smaller but father didnt seem to be himself. He wouldn't let me wear the blue dress for years. But I guess he got over it. Robin said she died happily next to her family. I dont remember her very much but father says I have her hair. I guess I like the feeling. Robin sits down next to me, kissing the top of my head as he does.
"You should sleep." He says.
"So should you." I reply
"Stubborn as always."
"Ya." I yawn and lie down on the leaf bed we made.
"Robin?"
"Hm?"
"Do you think.. The Sheriff will come after us?"
"Yes, but not today. Or tomorrow."
"How come?"
"We just messed us his game."
"I hate games"
"So do I.. So do I"
