Chapter 13
I walk with my hood up. Little John walks besides me. We decided to split the responsible to going to different towns. It seems more quite than usually. Guess thats reasonable. Little John starts passing out the sharings. I stay near the entrance of village, handing John my passing, not feeling like sharing my joy. I sigh and watch everyone's faces light up. I sigh, pulling my hood over my face more. I still havent collected my sword. I want to leave it stays. I walk next to John once more on our way back to camp.
"You need to let him go." Says Little John.
"I know."
"Than why dont you?"
"Because I can't."
"How come?"
"I dont know."
We stop to stare at each other, Little John opens his arms and embraces me in a hug. I lie my head against his chest. I start to slowly cry. I hear footsteps behind me. I dont look up but I feel Little John nod. I feel myself letting him go. I feel myself forgetting about my normal life. I already my normal life.
Little John takes something off his hip, once I calmed down. I step back to see what it is. Its my sword, the one I left where Allen died.
"Ready?" He asks.
I take the sword out of his hand, staring into its shining metal. I see Allan in the swords reflection. I smile. I know who I am.
I am Raven Hood.
Outlaw.
Protector of England.
And the person about the spoil the Sheriff's plan.
~ 3 days later
We found out about the Sheriff's war chest, where all the taxes go. 3 years worth of money is in there.
"If we get that chest. The Sheriff game is over." Said Robin, telling us about the chest.
All of us went crazy when we heard this.
We could finally stop the Sheriff! I cant believe it! We all hug each other. I hug my brother tightly as me swings me around. Once me settle down, Robin gives us more detail.
"The store room has patten of traps that change every hour. No one knows the traps. Thats the hard part." Says Robin.
Will stand up suddenly.
"I know a man who can help." He says
"Well Will. Where does this man live?" Asks Robin.
"I know where. Just follow me!" Shouting Will, saddling up onto a horse.
We all follow, me jumping onto the back of Robin's saddle. We ride to the outskirts of the forest.
My heart skips beats.
We are finally doing the last move.
I look to the sky. I see my father and Allen smiling down at us.
I hug Robin's torso, smiling. The autumn breeze flows through my hair.
My cloak falls off and lands behind us. I look back, my light blue eyes blazing.
"This is me England. Your savior."
My cloak flies into Nottingham, right to the feet of the Sheriff.
"Guy! Somethings not right!" Says the Sheriff .
