Birds of Legends Chapter 9

Chapter 9
I fall asleep again, only to wake up with Allen sitting at the foot of Robin's bunk. The rest of the gang is back. I make small talk with Little John and end up asking if he can help me walk outside.
"Please Little John."'I begged
"Fine.. For only a few moments"
He helps me lower my wounded leg onto the floor. I wince in pain as we walk slowly out. John ends up picking me up and setting me down on a fallen log outside of camp.
"Seems we dont have just Robin's romance going on anymore." John says, leaning against his staff.
"How'd you-"
"Allen is sitting on the end of your bed, worried. He doesnt do that ever unless he's fallen in love."
"Well." Is all i can mange.
We talk about how the Sheriff will one day pay and that England will finally be peaceful. I nod and answer to some of theses questions, only to find myself spacing out.
"Allen and me.. Ha! Wonder if Robin knows.."
"Raven!"
I snap my attention back.
"Time to go."
John carries me back to camp, setting me on my own bunk. I realize my shirt hasnt changed and I reach for a grey dress I found. I start to change and put it on under the skins i call a blanket.
Much and Allen seem to be making fun of each other again. I feel a hand go onto my ankle. Startled I turn to see who it is. Robin.
"So.. You'd have your first kiss while I was gone." He teases
"I didnt want it to be in front of my ignorant fat lousy brother." I joke back.
"I'm glad. Allen has gone as goo goo now. Hows your leg feeling?"
"Good I guess. Still cant walk. How long until Im back?"
"3 weeks."
"Great."
Before he leaves, Robin pats my leg and begins to sharpen some arrows. Will is repairing something in the camp while the others go along their usual business. I would be sharpen my swords but my impaired leg stops me. I sigh and lean against the back of the wall. Allen comes over to me.
"How you holding up?"
"Alright."
He kisses my hand and I blush, smiling.
God he is so perfect.
I'm surprised I didnt have feelings for him before. Guess I was so busy. Everyone gets into their bunks once dinner is done. Allen kisses me a goodnight before going to the other end. I lie with my back down, staring into the ceiling. I fall asleep thinking about ending this fight once and for all.. Maybe I'll be able to live a normal life after all..
