CHAPTER 2

VIOLET P.O.V

Today we were moving into the new apartment. Jai and Beau had just brought our mom over to the hospital.

“Its my fault that she’s like that.” I said to Luke as we were bringing some stuff over to the apartment.

“Vi, don’t say that. Its not true.” Luke nearly yelled at me.

“Luke! Dad left because he didn’t wanna have more then three kids. I’m the fourth. He said he wanted another son. I’m a girl. Why else would he leave?! Its my fault that mom drinks and does drugs!” He grabbed my arm that I was waving around as I talked.

“Stop it!” Mom drank because thats what she decided. You never gave her a drink and said ‘here become a fucking addict and forget about your four kids’. So stop Violet! Its not your fault.” He yelled at me just as loud as I was yelling at him.

“Whatever.”  I said. He pulled up to the apartment and we both got out. He grabbed the heavier boxes and we brought everything up to the apartment. We were then gonna drive back to the house and fill up both of our cars and we would drive over there.

“Hayden is coming over tonight.” He said in a calmer voice.

“Okay.” I said while I texted Ryan. We went back to the house where we loaded the rest of the things into the car and I got my car keys. I drove behind Luke to the house. When we pulled up Daniel and James were standing outside talking to Jai and Beau. They all came over and took the boxes out of the cars. Once everything was in the house the boys helped me set everything up in my room. “Thanks guys.” I said.

“Hayden said she would help paint it. Or decorate or whatever you want.” Luke said. 

“Okay.” I said. They all left except for Daniel. I had liked Daniel for a while now but I had never told anyone.

“How have you been?” He asked.

“Fine.” I said making the bed and sitting on it. He sat down next to me.

“The boys told me about what happened with your mom.” He said.

“ I was so scared.” I said. He grabbed my hand.

“I promise she will never hurt you like that again.” He said. “Violet, I need to tell you something.” He said.

“All right.” 

“I think I’m in love with you.” He just came right out and said it.

“The feeling is shared between the both of us.” I smiled at him.

“Will you be my girlfriend, love?” He asked.

“Of course I will.” We walked out of the room and down the short hall way to the living room where everyone was sitting. They all smiled at us.

“Get it in.” Jai said and winked. “No I’m just joking. Hurt my sister and I’ll ripe your balls off and feed it to the squirrels.” Jai said. I blushed.

“I wont hurt her.” Daniel said. He held my hand a little tighter. I never understood why someone held someone elses life until he grabbed my hand and I felt butterflies fill my stomach. I felt the blood rush to my cheek. I felt protected. Was this love? This was a weird feeling. There was a knock at the door. I walked over to it and opened it.

“Hey.” I said and let Hayden in. Luke stood up and hugged her.

“Hey Babe.” He said to her while kissing the side of her face. We all sat down on the couch. There wasn’t much room so me and Daniel laid on the floor together. Eventually they ordered a few pizza and I went into my room.

“Everything okay?” Daniel asked as he came in.

“Yeah. Wanna cuddle with me?” I asked smiling at him. He walked over to the bed and laid down next to me. 

“I love this.” He said and kissed the chest above my boobs that was showing over my tank top.

“What are you guys doing?” Hayden said as she came into the room and saw Daniels lips on my chest and my hand on the back of his head.

“Kissing.” Daniel answered. Hayden threw a couple of condoms at us. Daniel took them and stuck them in his pocket. I laughed.

“If my brothers see you with those they are gonna kill you.” I laughed at him as he kissed my neck.

“Don’t worry about it.” Of course he would say that. He doesn’t want me to worry about anything. Eventually the pizza came and we both went out and ate some of it.

“Can Daniel sleep over?” I asked.

“If he sleeps on the couch.” I groaned.

“Is Hayden sleeping over?” I asked.

“Yes.”

“Is she sleeping in your bed.”

“Yes.”

“Then Daniel is sleeping in my bed. I promise we wont have sex.” I said.

“Fine.” Jai said. I smiled and walked back to my room with Daniel. I turned the T.V on. 

“Watch whatever you want.” I said while I went to the bathroom and took my make up off. I came back into the room and he was asleep on his side with his arm over his head. I could hear him snoring a little. I shut the light off and climbed into the bed behind him. I put my arm over the top of his body and he grabbed my hand. I placed my face right on his back and we both fell asleep.

*HAYDEN P.O.V*

I knew that me and Luke shouldn’t have been fooling around with his sister and her boyfriend next door and his brother sleeping right below us but it turned me on. I giggled as he kissed my neck.

“We can’t do this.” He whispered to me.

“ I know.” I said laying down beside him. “Good night.” I said kissing him and rolling over. He slung his arm over me while his other arm rested under my head. His other arm was laying on my stomach and moved up past my boobs where he held my hand. That was one of the best nights sleep I ever got
