CHAPTER 13

 

VIOLET P.O.V

 

“How long should we wait to have intercourse?” Daniel asked after the doctor put the weird shot of birth control into me that would last three years. I snorted and my face turned red. Of course Daniel wanted to tag along and I think this is exactly why.

“I would say 48 hours. Most people wait a week.” The doctor answered him. He nodded his head. “Now, you will feel very sick for a few days this is why most people wait a week. You may throw up, you will get headaches. Don’t eat too much due to the fact that you will feel sick and will throw up whatever you eat.” He said and I nodded my head. I already had all of that so it wasn’t something new to me.

“How many people have gotten pregnant while on this?” I asked.

“Zero.” I was impressed. Some babies were pill babies meaning that they were conceived their mother was on birth control.

“Okay.” I said looking down while playing with my fingers.

“Is that all?” He asked looking from me to Daniel.

“Yes.” I said jumping down from the table and picking up my bag. I walked to the desk and paid before rushing out the door. “You make it so embarrassing.” He laughed as we got in my car.

“Violet Grace, will you go on a date with me on Saturday night?” He asked me smiling his cheeky grin.

“Sure.” I said while texting Beau that we were on our way back. “What are we going to do?” I asked. I had about five days to prepare for what I would be wearing.

“We are going out to dinner.” He answered as he held my hand.

“Is it fancy?” He shrugged.

“It can be.” He said.

“Do I wear a fancy dress and fancy shoes?” I asked.

“Well yes.” He answered. That’s all I needed to know.

 

*NEXT DAY*

 

“What are we shopping for?” Hayden asked as I looked in every single aisle for a dress to wear.

“I’m going to dinner with Daniel on Saturday and I need a dress and some shoes.” I said. As I picked out some dresses to try on but I knew I wasn’t going to like it. I picked out the most simple blue dress that I knew I loved but I also knew that Daniel would love. I went to try it on with Hayden following behind me. I tried the others on but they weren’t anything like this dress. It was tight at the top near my boobs but flowed out to my thigh. I would be getting black heels to go with it.

“It looks so perfect, Vi.” Hayden said as I showed her how it looked. “Skip is a luck man.” He had no idea. But he wasn’t the lucky one I was. After everything I put those boys threw they were all still here and it was an amazing feeling to know that.

“Yes he is.” I answered before changing back to my old clothes and going to pay. The boys each gave me a ton of money and didn’t know the other’s gave me money. It was pretty funny. “I need to buy shoes.” I said to Hayden. We never did anything like this, dressing up I mean, so I didn’t really have any clothes to go on a fancy date. After looking for shoes for about an hour I was just about to give up when we got to the last aisle and a pair of black heels caught my eye. They weren’t that tall but not too short. They had a little bow on the front that tied the shoe to your foot and they were just so adorable. I tried them on and pictured them with the dress and I knew they would be perfect.
