CHAPTER 9

 

HAYDEN P.O.V

 

Me and Luke decided we would go out shopping and then out to lunch today. He really needed to get away from the house and the children. Today they decided they were going to film a video. Luke didn’t want to be apart of it so Violet is filling his spot.

“Where do you want to go first?” I asked as we walked through the downtown area. There were tons of little shops all around. There were cafes and coffee shops and ice cream places and it was so cute. We came across a baby store that I ignored Luke about and walked in. I was really hoping we would have a girl. I only had brothers so having a little girl to play with and spoil would be nice.

“What do you want to have?” Luke asked me.

“A girl.” I said.

“Me too. I wanna spoil her.” He said as he looked around. I walked the other way looking at cribs and clothes.

“Hi! Can I help you with anything?” A women came over and asked.

“Um. I was just wondering, we live in Australia, if I buy this, could you ship it to Australia?” I asked.

“We could. You would just have to pay for it to be shipped. We can order another one and have it shipped from the factory to your house.” She answered with a smile.

“Luke.” I called out and he came over. “Okay I like this crib and they can order it here and ship it to the house in Australia.” I said to him.

“We are leaving here in a few weeks. You can’t wait until we get home and figure out where we are going to live and stuff?” I sighed. I knew he was right but I liked it so much.

“Fine.” I said as we moved on and looked at bottles and such. I suppose we could buy all of this when I was farther along and when we were home. I grabbed his hand before we headed out the door.  “Do you really wanna have a baby?” I asked him.

“Of course I do!” Why would you say I don’t? I want to have a baby more than anything.” He said back.

“I never said you didn’t want to have one. I’m just saying if you don’t think we can take care of it we can give it to my aunt.” I answered him. I knew I wanted to keep the baby but I always wanted to know what was running through his head. If he didn’t think he would be able to care for the baby, I would give it to my aunt. She was still pretty young and she had wanted another baby but wasn’t able to have one.

“I don’t know how to take care of a baby but I’m willing to try. Violet is really excited about it. She believes that baby is here because of our mom. I think so too. I want to keep it.” He said. I smiled at him. I loved him so much. I would love to be able to have a baby with him. He gave me the gift of life and I was willing to fight for him.

 

*VIOLET P.O.V*

 

I laughed as I was thrown in the pool with all of my clothes on. The boys decided it would be funny to blind-fold me and then spin me around in a chair, pick me up, and throw me into the water all while being videod and later put on youtube. Spending all of this time with these boys, you get so used to them being there. You get to know how they talk, the phrases and words they say, what type of food they like to eat, how they put their pants on. And believe me, I’ve seen them all naked more than once in my lifetime. It was normal for us. I’ve seen them all depressed and happy. I’ve seen them when they’ve been having a tough time and need a break. I love how they all act the same and when they are tired they all wear sweatshirts with the hood up. They walk with their hands in their pockets and when they ‘workout’ they really just take pictures of themselves.

I loved Daniel was clingy when he was sleepy and in the mornings and he would either hang off of me or Beau for a good two hours sometimes switching between the two of us. I loved that when they wanted me to make them something They would walk into the room and hang on me telling me how much they loved me. The best thing about these boys is that they aren’t just my brothers, they are my best friends.

 

*DANIEL P.O.V*

 

I watched as Violet smiled as we filled water balloons and she quickly flung one at Jai. Jai got her back by spraying her with the hose. She shrieked and screamed as she tried to get away but James held her and Jai sprayed her. She kept trying to wipe her face but no matter what she did more water hit her.

“Guy, you’re going to drown her.” I yelled over. I loved that she never got angry. She grew up with five guys around the house all the time. We were always playing pranks on her and she was always so good about it. I loved that when she loved, she loved deeply and you could see the love she had for someone in her eyes. I could tell she loved me by the way she looked in my eyes. When she loved something, she always wanted it to stay with her for as long as possible.

“Can I have a towel?” She asked as she came over to me. I held a towel out to her and wrapped her in it before sitting her cold, small, wet body on my lap. She rested her head on my shoulder as I rubbed her back and kissed the top of her head.

“Should we order a pizza or something?” I asked to the boys who had decided they had enough of the water and took a break.

“Yeah. Beau said he ordered a few pizza’s. Should be here soon.” Jai answered.

“Do you think Luke and Hayden are having fun?” Violet asked.

“They are probably driving each other insane.” I said and the boys laughed.

“They love each other. Lover’s drive each other insane. And she’s pregnant. Give her a break.” She defended them.

“Are you excited about the baby?” I asked her.

“Yes! How could you not be? Yeah they are still young and Luke it super freaked out, but we aren’t going to just leave them hanging. We can help them out.” She answered. We all looked at each other knowing she was right. She wanted to support them and help them out. I was just nervous that would make her want to have a baby. I was willing to give her the first half but not the whole ‘hey you got me pregnant’ part. I didn’t want to get her pregnant young. If we are 24 and not married yet and she wants a baby, that’s another story.

“I guess you’re right.” James said.

“I know I am. How do you think they feel? They are nineteen and having a baby. They are going to need all the help they can get.” She said. Beau came onto the deck with three boxes of pizza then. He placed them on the table. He got him and James’ favorite, Violet and Jai’s favorite and plain cheese me for. “Thanks, Beau.” Violet said.

“Welcome.” He answered back. We all ate in silence. Violet eventually went into the house to shower and I followed behind her. Beau told us we were allowed to shower together but we weren’t allowed to have sex or touch each other. I knew Violet wasn’t ready for that yet and I respected that. I didn’t want to take anything away from her. I was going to let her do her. I was able to watch her grow up into the beautiful person she is today and I was perfectly fine being able to watch her grow even more in love with me.

“I like when we shower together. It makes me feel ten times warmer than the water actually is.” She said. I loved that she said whatever popped into her head.

“Gosh I’m so in love with you.” I said as I kissed her. I ran my hand through her hair and down her back eventually grabbing her butt.

“I love you too.” She answered before she got out. SHe wrapped herself in a towel before handing one to me. “The guys wanted to go shopping.” She said as she threw on some clothes which was a pair of shorts with paint splattered all over them and a tank top that was mine. She slipped on a pair of flip flops before she left the room and I changed into a tank top and pair of shorts.

“Where are we going shopping?” I asked.

“Just downtown.” Violet answered. She grabbed my hand before we all walked out of the house locking it and walking down the street. I didn’t even care that Violet was acting girly and wanted to go into every store she saw, as long as her hand was attached to mine, I had no problem with it at all.
