CHAPTER 10

BEAU P.O.V

 

Well, we only had a few more weeks left here and it would be so sad to head home. It was beautiful here. We would be back though. We had been working on a new song and we would be recording it soon and putting it out into the world. I knew Violet didn’t want to leave. This was the only place she didn’t have to worry about anything else.

“Hey.” I said walking into Daniel and Violets room. They were still cuddled up asleep. I     was lonely. My brother was having a baby. My sister was dating my best friend. I needed to get a girlfriend. My issue was that I was afraid that someone would use me for my fame. I knew Vi wasn’t using Skip because they have known each other for all of Violets life.  Hayden and Luke had also known each other their whole lives. There weren’t many girls that I knew for that long who I wanted to spend some time with.

“What’s up?” Skip asked as Violet rolled over. She was on the other side of the bed. Near the wall. I knew it was so he could protect her. I would do that too.

“Nothing. What’s up with you?” I asked.

“Laying down.” Violet had the covers up to her face and she was laying on her stomach with one hand on Skip making sure he was still there.

“She’s not naked is she?” I asked.

“Why would she be naked?” He asked. I knew I shouldn’t have let them sleep in the same bed but    it was the only option we had. There wasn’t much room and she refused to come if she didn’t get to sleep in the same bed as him.

“I just…” I trailed off. I didn’t want to think of my little sister doing that. I sometimes forgot that she was a sister because me and the boys basically raised her. She is like my child. “I don’t want you to fuck her and then leave her.” His eyes opened wide.

“If I ever did do that you can kill me. I would never put her through that type of pain.” He said. I was glad he would never do that to her because if I was dating his sister I would never do that to her. I knew they were close and I knew they were so deeply in love. She had been for a long time. I always want the best for her. “Why would it matter if she was naked?” He asked. “Sometimes we like to sleep naked.” He commented. I guess we right. She got that from me, the sleeping naked. I got it from my father. My mom said she would always go to his house to wake him up and he was naked.

I would sleep like that also and I guess Violet does too. She was her own person but she was exactly like me. Jai and Luke looked alike and Violet looked like me. We all acted the same. Jai and Luke took after me and she took after all of us. I didn’t mind that she was just like us. She knew how to keep up.

“You’re lonely.” Skip said as he looked up at the ceiling. I sighed. I didn’t have to answer for him to know that he was right. I didn’t want to admit out loud that I was lonely. I didn’t want Vi to worry if she could hear me or not.

“I want a relationship like you and Vi. You guys are so cute and you rarely fight even though it seems like you should. And I want to be someone’s first. Not their first boyfriend but their first real love. Their first kiss, sex. Everything.” I said. These are the only things I told Daniel.

“You need to get out of the house.” He said. I wasn’t sure what he had in mind. He got out of bed slowly and placed the blanket back down to cover Violet. He was the sweetest boyfriend ever. I wanted to do that. He quickly put some clothes on before he left a note for Vi and kissed the side of her head. He grabbed the keys and pulled me out to the car. He drove to where we went shopping the week before. There were plenty of sweet, beautiful girls here, but I wanted one that I could keep. One that wasn’t with me for my looks. He pulled over. He didn’t move, he just looked around trying to find a girl.
