CHAPTER 22

VIOLET P.O.V

ONE MONTH LATER

 

While my brother’s were traveling the world I was stuck in this stupid hospital room. Of course I had a made a few friends but nothing major. Not people I would want to bring home to meet my brother’s. They were just as messed up as I was. Our doctor, for all of us kids here under the age of 18, Mrs. Jackson, was rather mean but you could see the love she had for us kids in her eyes.

“Violet, this is your new roommate, Madi.” She said as a rather short girl with short hair, blue eyes and brownish blonde hair walked in behind her. I gave a small wave before smiling at her. “Be nice.” Mrs. Jackson said as she walked out.

“What are you in here for?” I asked her. “Not to be rude or anything.” She just laughed before setting her bags down on the bed.

“I have an eating disorder. You?” She asked.

“Tried to kill myself. My brother’s made me stay here.”

“What are you brother’s names?”

“Beau, Jai and Luke.” She nodded her head.

“Like from the Janoskians?” She asked and I nodded my head. “I could tell. You look so much like Beau. I’ve seen you in a few of their videos. Did you see what they did for you?” She asked reaching for her laptop that was in her bag when I shook my head no and headed over to where she was now sitting on the end of her bed. She pulled up a picture of my brother’s all of which had my name tattooed on their arms. “They got it a few days ago.” She said smiling.

“That’s awesome. Want to skype them?” I asked her and she nodded her head before I headed over to my laptop. Beau didn’t answer his and neither did Luke nor Jai so I called Daniel.

“Hey. Is something wrong?” He asked and I shook my head.

“Can I talk to my brothers?” I asked and he nodded his head before Beau’s head appeared.

“Who’s this?” He asked and I looked at Madi who waved.

“Madi. My roommate.” I answered looking at her.

“Nice to meet you!” She said through the computer. And he returned it.

“So, what’s up? Is something wrong?” He asked and I shook my head.

“Why didn’t you tell me about the new tattoos?” I asked and he shrugged.

“Were waiting to show you in person.” He answered shrugging. I then looked at him confused.

“But that isn’t going to be for a while.” I commented. “Were you planning you to come see me?”I asked and I heard Daniel yelling in the background.

“We were thinking about it.” He answered. “We miss you not being here.”

“I don’t think all of you do.” I said before Daniel appeared on the screen with a sad face.

“I miss you.” He said fixing his hair as he saw that it wasn’t only me. “ I would love to come see you.” He said and I just looked at him. “Vi, seriously.” He said looking at me. “I know I fucked up but how long can you stay mad at me?” He asked.

“A long time.” I answered back. “Just you watch.”

“No. You might move on by the time you forgive me.” He said and I nodded my head. “Is that the point?” He asked and I nodded my head. “Why?” I shrugged.
