Thranduil headed towards his chambers when he saw Legolas walking down the same corridor.
"Ion nin" Thranduil adressed his son. Legolas approached his father.
"Tomorrow I want you to show Lady Elsaylen the palace-"
"But... What about Tauriel-"
"I will have her do some business. I want her to slowly return to her old life again. Don't worry, she will be alright." Thranduil concluded and Legolas nodded hesitantly. Thranduil entered his room, so did Legolas.

Tauriel was sweating and shifting on her bed, trying to concentrate on her dream;

She was walking in the forest, enjoying the beauty of her surroundings. She suddenly saw a small figure a few metres away from her. She took a few steps closer and found out; it was him.

A warm smile appeared was formed on her lips and approached him. He turned around and his warm brown eyes met a pair of light green. He smiled widely and hugged Tauriel.

"Tauriel..." he breathed in relief.
"Kili..." she whispered and pulled away. "I missed you so much my love... Where had you been?" she asked him.
"I had always been here... I wish I could stay longer..." he replied and sighed.

She leaned down a bit and closed her eyes as their lips met. It was a soft, sweet kiss, full of love. He deepened the kiss, kissing her with more passion. When it was hard to breathe, they pulled away, breathing heavily. Tauriel had felt her body shivering and burning. Happiness had overwhelmed her once again.

"Tauriel... I wish I could stay longer but I cannot. I need to tell you something..." he caught her hands and looked into her concerned eyes "Do not grieve for me... No more. You have spent lots of years grieving for me... You must return to your old life, Tauriel. Your people need you, so does your family... Please..." Kili replied with pleading eyes.

Tauriel looked away; how could she be able to return to her old life again after everything that had happened? She could not.

"Please, do it for me. Be strong, be yourself again. You have to do it. Things will not be as they were before. If I had the ability to take all the memories you have of me, I would may do it, but-"

"No... I do not want such thing to ever happen... I want to remember you..." Tauriel's voice trailed off while silent sobs escaped her lips and tears streaming down her cheeks.

Kili whipped them and smiled faintly "You are right, I would not do such a thing, but I know you will always remember me for I will always be in here" he placed his hand on her heart. She smiled through sobbing and hugged him tightly. He hugged her back and rubbed her back.

He then looked her deep into the eyes as if seeing inside her soul. She would lose him forever, she knew that this was only a dream, though she would like to believe this was real. Kili had been in most of her dreams and nightmares, but this was the first time she could hear what he was saying, no bother talk to him, touch him.

"I love you"he said and kissed her softly, one last time. A single tear fell from his eyes, just as the last time they saw each other.

Bright light filled the forest and, in an instant, Kili disappeared.

"Kili!!!!"

"Kili!!!!!" Tauriel sat up on her bed, screaming his name on top of her voice. It took her a couple of minutes to calm herself down and then she started crying loudly, her body shaking uncontrolably from the sobs.

She kept crying all night long until she fell asleep from exhaustion (when it was about an hour before dawn).

Two hours after dawn, Thranduil woke up with a small yawn. He looked out of the window; he had overslept a bit. Yes, he was the king, which meant that he could wake up whenever he pleased, but he usually woke up at a specific time.
