The sky was full of dark clouds and the whole forest was soaked wet.
A loud thunder burst and made Tauriel wake up. Even though it was only dawn, Tauriel was very glad that she finally woke up; she was having multiple awful nightmares and she was struggling to wake up the whole night.
She sat up and immediatelly a siering pain overwhelmed her body. She cried out and clasped her ribs. Every morning she would have at least one siering pain. She didn't know why, but she could feel that she was slowly dying.
Great fear started building inside her, the fear of death. But she had only one motivation; once she died she would be with her beloved one.
She felt the weakness rising through her body and she closed her eyes.

When this loud thunder burst, Legolas woke up with a gasp. He had once again been dreaming of Tauriel.
He rubbed his eyes and stood up. He looked out of the window and saw that the rain had finally stopped, yet the menacing clouds were in the sky and a thunder burst once in a while.
He sighed heavily and started getting dressed. He removed the bandage and inspected the wound; whatever herb it was, it had made a very positive effect on the wound.
The wound was way better than yesterday and had started closing, yet it still hurt him. He bandaged it again and, once he got dressed, he walked out of the room.
He made his way to the dining hall, and once he reached it, he found Aragorn, Gimli and his father having breakfast and conversating quietly.
When Legolas entered, they turned to him and said "good morning". Legolas nodded in greeting and took his seat beside his father.
There was dead silence when Aragorn spoke "I have to tell you that me and Gimli have to leave in a while-"
"Why? How will you be able to leave when there is so bad a weather outside? And what about the feast?-"
"Sorry my friend, but I have a whole kingdom to run. And I also have Arwen waiting for me." Aragorn replied.
"I have to go too for I have a lot business to do. Furthemore, my father is sick, so..." said Gimli and lowered his head.
"Ok then. We will provide you with clothes, good, weapons and whatever else you will need to your journey." Legolas stated and his friends stood up.
Thranduil called for three maids to help them get ready. Once they were, they got out of the palace where Legolas and Thranduil waited.
"May you have a peaceful journey and have luck in your life." Thranduil spoke and dipped his head, Aragorn and Gimli did too.
Legolas turned to his friends and hugged them tightly "We will meet someday, I promise. I wish you good luck" Legolas whispered.
"I hope everything turns out to be alright with Tauriel. Good luck" Aragorn whispered.
"Goodbye laddy" Gimli smiled and left alongside with Aragorn.
Once they were out of sight, Legolas turned to his father
"Adar..."
"Yes you may. I will get everything prepared for the feast, alright? Go now." Thranduil replied and entered the caves. Legolas stayed behind for awhile and then entered the caves too.He walked with slow steps, knowing that the time has come; he was going to talk to Tauriel. He was so anxious that his hands were sweating.
Once he faced her room's door, he took a deep breath and knocked it softly.
