~Meanwhile in Mirkwood ~

Thranduil sat tensily on his throne.

A lot of events, that recently had happened, were lingering on his mind; some good events were that the captain of the Guard kept reporting that no more spiders or spider nests were in the forest, which was very satisfying news.

The darkness and the sickness of the forest were, slowly but obviously, leaving too.

But there was also wary and sorrowful news; Tauriel was fading.

But let us start from the beginning;

After the funeral, Tauriel went back to Mirkwood, to her friend's house.

She didn't bother showing Calerian her deep sadness. Calerian didn't know how long this sadness would last. The only thing she knew was that such deep sadness wouldn't have a good result.

The more years that passed by, the worse Tauriel became. Her deep pain never eased, only increased.

One day, Elnor (one of the Forest Guard) and some other guards headed to the village in order to check if there were any problems.

While Elnor was passing by Calerian's house, he saw Tauriel getting out.

He stopped at his tracks and stared at her in bewilderment.

When Tauriel saw him, her eyes widened and turned around to enter again.

Before she could enter the house, Elnor caught her arm and forced her to face him.

Then, by Tauriel's surprise, he hugged her so tight that it was hard to breathe. Tauriel pulled away first.

"Elnor! What are you doing here??"

"You mean what are you doing here?? You were supposed to be banished many years ago!"

"Uh..." Tauriel didn't know what to say. He wasn't supposed to be here!! Or was he?

Elnor was staring at her with a look of complete disbelief.

"Ok, ok, I will tell you everything." Tauriel stated in defeat and he crosses his arms.

"All those years, I was staying at Calerian's house. I didn't want to leave the realm."

"Ok, you didn't want to leave, but what will Thranduil say or how will he react when he finds out?? His reaction is beyond me." Elnor replied desperately.

"Don't worry mellon, he won't find out All those years he didn't do, why now?"

"He will find out, Tauriel. Now that I found you, I assure you that he will do so." said Elnor with a serious look.

"Don't you tell me that it will be you to help him find out!!" she yelled at him, anger building inside her.

"I am sorry Tauriel, but it is really important."

"NO!! You won't do that!!! Are we not friends any more?? Do you want my doom??!!" Tauriel yelled again, tears forming in her eyes. "Please don't!! You will lead me to my death!!!! He will kill me!! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND??!!" Tauriel yelled as loud as she could and some elves looked at them before turning again to their business. She was now crying and sobbing.

Elnor was pitying her very much but didn't do anything.

"I don't want to die like this Elnor." she finally whispered and covered her face with her hands.

Elnor hugged her softly, rubbing her back "He isn't that cruel now, Tauriel. He has changed a lot. He won't kill you mellon nin. If he ever tries to do so, he will have to kill me first. Just please don't cry, it breaks my heart. I missed you so much, Tauriel. All of us did." Elnor whispered, trying to comfort her.
