They walked for some minutes when the door that led to the gardens showed up.
Tauriel thought that they were going to go to the gardens, when suddenly Legolas turned left, leading her to a different direction.
They ended up walking down a very dark corridor. It was so dark that, even if she was an elf, she was barely seeing. She sensed Legolas being unsure of this darkness too "Legolas?"
"Hm?"
"Why is so dark in here?"
"I don't even know. Someone must have blown out the candles...Anyway, I know the way, do not worry." Legolas muttered and continued walking.Tauriel tried not to lose him as he quickened his pace. He suddenly came to a stop and she nearly bumped into him.
"There we are" he turned to face her and smiled warmly. Through the darkness, she could see multiple doors on the wall. She watched as Legolas caught a small chain that was hunging from his neck.
A glowing silver-white key that had the shape of a strange leaf was hunging from the chain. The glow that came out of it seemed to give light to the whole corridor.
Tauriel stared at it in complete awe. Then Legolas turned around and faced the wall before him. He put a hand on the wall and whispered a few words. Then he removed his hand and a small hole appeared.
He put the key in it and a lot of flower designs shone and started spreading on the wall, in all directions. This whole thing happened so quickly that Tauriel backed away a bit in surprise when a small door was formed by the flower designs.
(this door is like Moria's gate but smaller and with flowers, just in case you don't understand the description😅)
Legolas looked at her from the corner of his eye and smiled. He then pushed the door slightly, making it open enough for them to pass through. He motioned for Tauriel to pass through first.
She slowly did so, still a bit dizzy from what had just happened. Legolas got inside too and closed the door.
As the door closed, white flower designs shone on the walls around them, making this corridor fill with light. Tauriel gasped at this sight and started walking down the glowing corridor.
Legolas was walking behind her smiling and observing her very reactions to this. He had come there lots of times and was still impressed and enchanted as the first time he got there. But this time was different; he had Tauriel with him. This place seemed brighter and more enchanting to him as Tauriel was there with him.
She was looking around her, extremely enchanted of her surroundings, as if she was in a dream.
After what seemed like ages, a huge wall of white and green leaves filled Tauriel's eye vision. She came to a stop as she didn't know what to do next.
Legolas covered her eyes with his hands. Tauriel flinched and shivered at his touch.
"Relax, Tauriel... Close your eyes and move forward..." Legolas whispered and Tauriel seemed to relax a bit.She closed her eyes and passed through the leaf wall. Legolas followed her. Once they were out of the bright corridor, Legolas said "You can open you eyes now" and she opened her eyes.

The first thing she did was to gasp loudly. They were standing in a small clearing; green grass was all around and beautiful trees, bushes and flowers filled it. A small waterfall could be seen, the water flowing into a pound. But the most beautiful sight was the bright stars that were shining in the dark sky above them.
"Oh Legolas..." she breathed and kneeled down to touch the soft grass. Legolas smiled warmly and sat down beside her "Do you like it?" he asked her calmly.
