Dinah pov

I was at my desk searching for some papers that I needed to file, "Liam did you see a folder with my name on it?" I asked my partner and to my dismay he shook his head "but look what I found.." he said holding up a piece of paper. I shrugged my shoulders, "what is that? You know I'm nearsighted Payne!" I said motioning for him to come closer "looks like the little girl liked you more than expected" he said handing me the paper making me cringe at the choice of words he used.

It was the drawing that Camila drew of us, and I may have kept it for safe keeping.. It's cute "Dinah how close did you get with her" um.. All the way to home base but I can't tell him that "not close at all"

The bearded man eyed me down, "well that's good I can't have you leave me for a high school girl you met on a case, talk about low" he chuckled which made me laugh nervously. "Hansen.. Payne save the small talk for your honeymoon, right now you have work to do" order Kehlani our Captain, "you have to go back to the school and search high and low for the rest of the Zaynraxa" honestly if the kid didn't want to get caught why did he put his name on the drug.. The ego on this guy right?

"Will do Lani" I said getting up from my desk, "you're gonna see your fake girlfriend again are you excited" I did a fake laugh before shoving my partner "shut up." The thought of seeing Camila again was both terrifying and rapturous, it'll be terrifying because she's probably pissed and hurt by me lying to her and it'll be rapturous because I haven't seen her gorgeous face in a week and I really miss her. I did the worst thing an undercover cop could do on a case.. I didn't mean to get attached to the high schooler but I guess some things you just can't stop.

We searched Zayn's locker and found 5 bottles of his praxa's, "you hung out with this dude almost everyday and you didn't know that he had drugs in his locker?" Liam chuckled. He had put the bottled drugs into the plastic bag and tied it up, "I did and I told y'all but I had to go further into the investigation" I stated.

"Well I'm about to check his locker in the boys locker room then we can head out" Liam said heading towards the gym. I was about to go to the police car when I saw the girl that's been on my mind all week walking into the bathroom, this may be the only shot I have to apologize to her. I walked in the girls restroom and signaled for the other girls to get out, once they did I locked the bathroom door.

Camila walked out of the stall and rolled her eyes when she saw me and went to the sink to wash her hands, "what are you doing here?" I just stood there taking in her outfit.. She's wearing a white crop top with bluw capri's and white open toed heels. She looked different, a good different and it left me speechless.

I was brought out of my thoughts when the younger girl tried to move pass me, I stepped over to block her from unlocking the door "Karla listen to me please.." Camila turned her head not looking me in the eyes. "I'm sorry for everything I've put you through this past week, I'm sorry for lying to you, and I'm sorry for using you.." the brunette kept her gaze on the ground still not looking my way
