"And where the hell have you been? You don't believe in answering your phone anymore?"
I walked in my front door to see Max standing there with Addy on his hip. I couldn't help but chuckle a little. I walked over to the kitchen counter and threw my purse and keys on it.
"It's not funny Malaysia! Where were you?" He asked.
"I was with Justin." I shrugged.
"No fücking way!" Max eyes widened, I looked at Addy than him and my jaw dropped. "Give me my niece!" I held out my arms getting her from me.
"What's so shocking about that?" I bounced Addy in my arms standing in front of him. He shook his head, "Um nothing. Are you guys together?" He bluntly asked.
"Well if you must know, yes we are." I rolled my eyes sitting on the couch with Addy on my lap.
"Is he still mad that I—"
"That you knocked him out? No," I chuckled, "That was like a month ago, I'm pretty positive he's over it."
"What if he's not?" Max asked.
I shrugged, "Well he better be, you're my little brother I can't get rid of yo—"
"Wait, what is that?"
"What is what?" I looked at him confused, "That." He pointed to my finger but before I could even answer he was already screaming Ava's name.
"What the hell Maxwell? I was in the shower!" She ran out in her towel as I chuckled a little by her calling him by his full name.
"Mal's got a ring on her finger."
"Okay?" She looked at him like he was crazy. "And it's from Justin." He smirked.
"Get the fück out!" She squealed running over to me grabbing my left hand. "I guess none of you care if your daughter grows up to cuss like a sailor?" I asked.
Max shrugged, "She's 10 months, she doesn't know any better."
"Girl stop trying to change the subject, you guys are together?" Ava asked frantically.
I nodded slowly, "Yeah we are.." A big smile grew upon her face, "Together as engaged?"
"Oh god no. If you guys didn't freak out and let me explain I could of told you that this was just a promise ring." I smiled proudly.
"So what'd he promise?" Ava asked wiggling her eyebrows quickly sitting down next to me in her towel. It's a good thing we're all extremely close or this would be hella awkward.
"Just that he promises that this time around, our relationship will actually work."
"Awe he's so cute when he wants to be," she turned to Max and slapped his chest, "Take notes dumbäss."
I laughed so hard before giving Addy back to Max, "I'm gonna go change and do my makeup so I can head down to Majestic."
"Wanna ride together? I'll be done in forty." Ava yelled while I walked to my room, I yelled back sure before closing my bedroom door.
