Dean (pov)
It's been 2 weeks and me and Sammy have just kind of been hanging out. It's weird, dad's hunts don't normally take this long, but we're not allowed to complain, so...Sam's sitting in his bed reading, and I'm just laying in bed throwing a bouncy ball I found outside up and down. We hear the door open and close and heavy footsteps walk inside. I look at Sam and he looks back and we have a silent agreement. I grab the pistol I keep under my bed, as does Sam. He goes behind the wall and I go on the other side.
I peaked my head over the frame, and luckily it was just dad. I looked at Sam and told him it was okay. He put his gun down and we walked up to dad.
"Have you found anything out about the vamps yet da-sir?" Asks Sam.
"Actually, yes. I have, Sammy. I found their nest." He looks at me. There's something in his eyes. Something I've never seen in his eyes before. Fear. What is so bad that even dad is scared of? "Dean. You're 17 now, and I've trained you well. Can I trust you?" What kind of question is that?
"Of course you can trust me, sir. Can I ask why?"
"The vamps, I made a mistake and now they've got my sent. Which means I can't get them myself. I need you two to go out tonight and go shoot one of them with dead mans blood." He wants us to do it? This is the first time we've ever even been offered to go on a hunt alone. Well, I mean it's not really an offer, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
"Yes sir." Me and Sam say at the same time. He goes to walk away, but turns around.
"Oh, and also, this is going to take longer than I thought, so I'm putting you both in school. So make sure you guys watch out for each other." He looks at me, and I understand that he's telling me to look out for Sammy.
"Yes sir." We say again. Then he starts to leave again, but turns around once again.
"Oh yeah, and you guys start school tomorrow."
"Yes sir." We say once again. Then he actually leaves this time. Sam flops onto the bed and groans.
"Come one Sam. It's not that bad." I try to comfort him.
"Dean, this is our 4th school this year! I'm sick of moving! Why can't we just stay in one spot for at least a whole semester?" I shake my head.
"Sammy, I know how you feel, but you know why." He sighs.
"I know. But why can't we just have normal lives?"
"Why don't you ask yellow eyes that."
"Jerk."
"Bitch."

The next day"Dean, wake up! We're going to be late!" Sam screams into my ear. I push him off my bed, followed by a big thump. "Ow." I look up at the clock and see that it's already 8:00. Crap.
I get out of bed and get dressed, and what ever else is needed to get ready. When I'm finished, Sam was already waiting for me at the door.
"Come on." He said, not so excited. Then walked out the door. I walked out and looked at my baby. She was a beauty. I walked up to the front door and got inside. Neither of us said a word the whole way there.
We Finally pulled into the parking lot. I look at Sammy and give him a slight smile. He looks at me with his sad puppy dog eyes, then gets out of the car. I watch him walk off to the doors of the school.
I eventually get out of the car and start walking up to the doors. When I get inside and head to the office, I see an older looking lady. I also see Sam slouched in one of the chairs. I look at the lady and smile.
