Cas pov
I hold onto Jessica. I don't know what to do and I'm scared out of my mind. I don't look at dean because I hate seeing him like this. It's good that I know how to pick locks. Gabe and Balth always play pranks on me and lock me out of my room, so u had to learn. I almost died like 10 times killing all the vamps, but dean killed almost all of them. Jessica pushes off of me. She shakes her head and she cries.
"You guys have to leave. Now." That doesn't make any sense.
Suddenly the doors burst open, and they're dad walks in. He looks at me then dean, then Sam and Jessica, and something clicks. He runs up to Sam and Dean. He quickly starts wrapping deans leg where he was shot.
"Dean, what happened?" He says holding onto Sammy.
"Th-they we're going to kill dean." Is all is Sam weakly.
"I knew you guys weren't ready. What was I thinking? I'm so sorry." I look at Sam, and he's eyeing down deans bloody leg. Na-uh. There's no way I'm letting anyone eat my dean. Well, he's not mine yet, but he will be. Dean must've noticed to, because he started backing up.
"Me and cas are going to go to bobbys and see if there is any thing he can do." Dean says. He looks at me and signals me to start walking with him. I get up and follow him.
We get outside the barn, but it's still dark. We head to his car. He gets in the drivers seat, of course.
While we drive, he doesn't say anything. He just looks straight ahead. I get this pit in my stomach. This is all my fault. I should've just minded my own business. Now dean hates me, and I hate myself.
"Dean..." I start to say. He doesn't make any moves, he just keeps looking straight ahead. "I'm so sorry." He still says nothing. I can practically feel the pain in his eyes. About five minutes pass when he actually says something.
"He was the only thing keeping me going. Sammy was all there was keeping me together, and now he's gone. I loved that kid more than anything." He says devastated. A tear trickles down my cheek. I just ruined my crushes entire life.
"He's not gone, Dean. There's still a chance we can save him." He doesn't respond, so I don't bother him.
We finally get to this so called bobbys house. We wait there a few minutes before getting out of the car. Dean limps up to the door and pounds on it loudly. The door opens to reveal an older looking man. He waits a minute, and dean doesn't say anything. Bobby raises his eyebrows.
"Well? Did you come here for something or are you just going to sit there like an idget?" He looks over at me. "And who's this?" I'm starting to get used to that question. Then, Bobby sees the tears on deans face. "Dean? What happened?" Dean still says nothing. "Well, come in!" He moves out of the way, but stops me.
"It's okay Bobby. He knows about us." Dean finally says. Bobby sighs and moves so I could go in. I was surprised to see all the weaponry. There were tons of guns and books and salt laying around. I sit down on a random chair, but dean remains standing, careful not to put weight on his leg he got shot. Bobby walks in.
"Dean. What is it?" He questions. Then he looks at his leg. "Let me patch taut up." Dean doesn't answer.
"It's Sam." I answer for him. His eyes go wide, and you can almost see him stop breathing.
"What happened?" I explain to him everything that happened. I have to stop a couple times throughout the story to breath. The whole time, all I can think about is that this is my fault. He looks over at dean who still hasn't moved. Bobby walks over to dean and gives him a hug. Dean hugs back and digs his face into his chest. Dean finally pulls away. "I'll see what I can find, okay? There's no way I'm letting Sammy become a vampire." Dean nods his head and walks into the other room. I follow him and sit on a couch with him while he raps up his leg.
"Dean, I can't explain to you how sorry I am. This is all my fault."
"Cas, stop." Oh great. He doesn't even want to here my apology. "This isn't your fault. I understand you just wanted to see if there was something wrong with me. And you tried to help even though you could've died, and that's all that matters." I was not expecting that.
"Thank you."
"Don't mention it. I just really hope that we can save him."
"Yeah, me to." Well, I've just witnessed the soft part of deann Winchester. I didn't even know he had a soft side! That just makes me like him even more. It's to bad he probably was just trying to be nice and in reality he probably hates me.
Dean pov
I really like cas. He's so perfect. He has a perfect personality, and most certainly a perfect appearance. I bet he even feels bad for coming out to see if I was okay in the first place. I mean sure, he did get Sammy caught, but he was willing to risk his life to get him back afterwards. Everyone makes mistakes. Plus, he could've never known. And if it wasn't for him, I would be dead by now. I still don't know how he got out of those chains, but honestly, I didn't have the energy to ask.
I was just so depressed about Sammy, I didn't even want to say anything. There was no point. But when I'm next to cas, everything's different. I feel like I could tell him anything. And he'll listen. That's one of the many things I like about him. He's listens, not ignore, not doesn't care, listens carefully. Sammy does that to. That's why he's the best brother I could ask for. But I would never let him know that, or else I would never here the end of it. He's a better person than me, that's for sure. He doesn't deserve this.
"Dean!" I here Bobby call. "I found something! Get in here!" I look at cas for both comfort and support. Then jump up and run into the other room.
"What? What did you find?" He chuckles.
"So he speaks."
"This isn't a time for jokes, Bobby! What did you find?" This is it. I'm going to get Sammy out of this no matter what it takes.
"Well, it's simple really. All you have to do is get blood from the alpha and feed it to the victim in the next 48 hours after." That's it? Well shit, I was freaking out about nothing!
"Thank you so much Bobby! I'll see you later!" I say running toward the door.
"anytime dean. Nice to meet you cas."
"Nice to meet you to, sir."
"Please, call me Bobby."
"Okay, Bobby. Thanks for helping with Sam."
"You don't ever need to thank me for that. I'll help you boys anytime." I turn around and face them.
"Cas! Hurry up! We don't have all day!" I yell impatiently. He comes running out the door, and we hop in the car. I was just so happy on the way there, I couldn't stop smiling. Then cas started smiling because I was smiling, which just made me smile even bigger.
We finally get to the motel. I pray to god dad hasn't killed Sammy. I rush inside. It's probably been about an hour or 2 sense it happened, so we have plenty of time. When I get inside, I don't see Sammy anywhere, but I do see dad sitting on a chair with his head in his hands.
"D-dad? Where is Sam?" He doesn't respond at first. "Dad? Please tell me you didn't kill him." I say scared.
"Of course I didn't kill him Dean! What kind of father do you think I am?" He snaps. Well, considering the life you gave us, you definitely wouldn't get the top dad of the year.
"I'm sorry to offend you sir. Where's Sammy?" I ask again. He sighs, on the verge of tears.
"Come here son." He says walking towards the door. I look at cas, who seems extremely uncomfortable. I didn't want to leave him alone.
"Hey dad? Is it okay if cas comes?" I ask hopefully.
"I don't care." Then he walks out the door. I'm so thankful cas is coming.
Dad leads us to a spot in the motel that I've never seen before. I assume it's the basement. He opens the door and leads us down the stairs. It's dark and cold. Why are we here? We get to the bottom step, and dad flicks on the light.
I see Sammy chained up to the side of the wall, Jessica sitting next to him.
Yay! Jess is here! Yay! Destiel bonding over Sammy sadness! Yay! More darkness! What else is new? See ya next chapter!
