Sam
"Why, I-i can't- I'm to young." I tried. I couldn't understand why Aiden would want me to be married to Ruby. He smiled.
"Why, the rules are a little different in here. You are my son, you must be married into royalty." There it was again. Son. He really thinks I'm his son. He's nuts. "Ruby here, is my very close friend's daughter. She told me about your foolish plan."
"You." Clara said. She looked angry, and she was looking right at Ruby. "You traitor! You ignorant whore! You ratted us out!" She started running forward, but the guard grabbed onto her arms. She tried to run at them, but she did not move from that spot. He pulled her out of the room, and her yelling disappeared when the door slammed shut.
I looked up at Ruby for some explanation. She mouthed 'I'm sorry'. She had a pleading look in her eyes, and it was pretty obvious that Aiden had just beaten her. But for some, horrible, twisted reason, I couldn't bring myself to forgive her. I felt sorry for her, but I didn't forgive her.
"Why did you bring us here?" I asked, now angry.
"Good question, Sammy." Aiden said. I cringed. I do every time he calls me that. It makes me sick. "Well, I'll let you know that this will be where you are living now." He looked content with himself. I'm moving again? I almost prefer the cell.
"Why?" I asked. I had to control my voice from yelling.
"Well, I live here, and you should live with you family of course. You are but a child." He said it as if it was obvious. My face grew hot.
"Is dean here? My dad, my real dad? John Winchester? What about my mom? Are they here?" The smile was wiped right off his face so fast. He gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes. Ruby was shaking her head as if she was warning me, but I didn't care.
He started heading towards me. "What did I tell you about using those names in this place." He said. He charged at me like an angry bull. I started to regret saying that. My stomach knotted up and I backed up towards the door. He came up to me and struck me across the cheek with such force I fell to the floor. "I really didn't want it to come to that, but we do have rules set in our house." Our house. I stayed there, kneeled down on my hands and knees. In that moment, I felt hopeless. Jess was gone, Dean was gone, Anna was gone, Gabe was gone, Charlie was gone, Clara was gone, Kevin was gone. Everyone was gone. It was just me and Aiden. The same Aiden that touched me and whipped me. The same Aiden who is obsessed with my mom and has a burning hatred for my dad. The same Aiden who kidnapped hundreds of children to raise an army.
In that moment, I felt something I've never felt before. Nothing. I wasn't scared, sad, mad, confused, determined, just, nothing. I was nothing.
"Get up," he said. I didn't. "Get. Up." He said again. I stayed. "Damnit kid! Get up!" He demanded, grabbing me by my hair and pulling me up to my feet. I looked at Ruby, who looked terrified and was still crying. Aiden grabbed me by my shoulders and turned me to face him. "Look sam, you really need to learn how to be respectful to me. What has happened to you was nothing compared to what I can do to you. Now, I don't want to hurt you, but pull another stunt like that, and you won't like the results." He threatened. I looked into his soulless eyes. "Do you understand?" He asked. I kept staring at him. I realized this was the first time that I could make eye contact with him. And I wasn't scared and angry. I wasn't anything. "Are you deaf? Are you going to make me repeat myself every time I ask you something?" He snapped. I shook my head slowly. He sighed the nodded to himself. "Good."
Then he took out a pair of hand cuffs and put them around my wrists. I didn't fight back. I didn't even care if he hurt me. I wanted him to kill me. I wanted to die. He then took out a rope and attached it to the cuffs. Then he took the rope and started walking up the stairs, pulling me with him. I tripped a couple times because of how fast he was walking, but he never stopped. He would just keep dragging me along until I got back up. We finally reached a room.
The carpet was grey and spotted with neutral colors. The walls were sandy yellow, and there was a single window on the wall. Normally I would be happy to see a window, since I haven't seen the outside in who knows how long, but I didn't care. It seemed to me like I wouldn't be able to get out anyways. You couldn't even see out the window, it was jus darkness. As if someone painted black paint over it. There was a king sized bed in the middle up against the wall with a light blue comforter, and a navy blue pillow at the top. There was a brown dresser on the other side of the room with three drawers (which I thought was pointless since I wore the same thing every day), and another large book shelf completely filled with books.
I also noticed that there was a door next to the dresser. Maybe it's a closet, I thought.
"Well sam, what do you think of your room?" He asked me. I didn't answer. "I know, it's so breath taking." He sighed. "However, you won't be staying here tonight." He said. Maybe I would be staying in the old room, I hoped. He started pulling me towards the door on the side of the room. He reached into his pocket and brought out a large key. He stuck it into the key hole. He turned, and you could here it click. He turned the knob and the door opened. It was completely empty, except for one rail on the wall. He started pulling me in, and I started to see where this was going. I tried to resist, but he pulled with such force, I could feel the cuffs going into the skin.
He tied the rope to the rail. The floor was complete cement, and the only light that was in there came from the outside.
"You will be staying here for a little bit until you learn your manners." He says. Panic started to rise inside of me.
"No, I'm sorry. I'll be respectful. I'll clean, I'll listen to you, please! I'll do anything, please don't leave me here!" I begged, but he showed no remorse in his eyes. He got up and walked to the door. Before he left, he turned around to look at me.
"I'm sorry, Sammy. Maybe this will help you." Is all he says, then he closes the door, and all that is left is complete and utter darkness.
