Please comment and let me know what you think! And don't forget to like if you enjoy this. The photo attatchment is Jack, Finn, and Zoe! Oh and I have something cheeky planned for the next chapter :)

I struggle to take in air. Jack’s lips find mine slowly. His truthful words still linger on his tongue. My hand pushes against his chest, separating the two of us. I suck in a chest full of air. Jack is holding back a guilty smile, his body language telling me that he wants more.

            “Jack…” I wipe my lips.

“Forget about Finn,” he requests, leaning towards me.

“What? No. That… that isn’t fair to do to him. I don’t want to do that to him.”

Jack’s breath smells like peppermint, “I don’t think you know what you want.”

“I know that we can’t be doing this, Jack. Finn told me…” I stop talking and sigh heavily.

“Finn told you what?” his eyes grow smaller.

“Nothing… It doesn’t matter what Finn said. It isn’t right to fool around with both of you.”

His eyes flicker with frustration, “But…”

“Ash?” Finn’s soft voice calls out.

Jack gives me one last, pleading look before cupping my face in his hands. I close my eyes and wait for his soft lips to shape around mine. So much heat is placed behind Jack’s side of the kiss… I feel unstable when he pulls away. He pushes his palms into the back pockets of his jeans. Jack bites his lip and stares at the ground.

The kitchen door swings open and Finn appears. I tilt the glass at my lips and gulp down my wine, trying to mask the guilt and smell of peppermint. Finn stands at my side, watching his little brother with an uncertain look. An awkward silence fills the air and I can hardly stand it. I need more alcohol to get through all this tension.

“What’s up?” Finn wonders innocently, putting his arms around my shoulders.

Jack’s eyes lift to meet his brother’s stare, “Nothing really, just chatting.”

I nod my head lean into Finn’s strong figure.

“So we’re all good now?” Jack lifts his eyebrows and looks at me, “All forgiven?”

I can’t help but smile, “Yeah, we’re good.”

Jack’s smile looks opposite to the grim expression on Finn’s face. Jack leaves the room quickly and I try to guess what Finn is thinking.

“He apologized,” I tell Finn, “And explained a lot of things to me.”

He nods his head quickly, “That’s good, I suppose. Are you ready to go?”

I nod my head and smile anxiously. Suddenly, Finn’s stunning green eyes can see right through me. The tension between Jack and me was just too obvious. We leave the house and pile into three different taxis. Some people decide not to go clubbing, and stay at home instead.

Finn opens the backseat door for me and I slide in next to Caspar. He’s preoccupied by whatever is on the screen of his phone. Finn sits on the other side of me, and Tyler takes the passenger seat. Throughout the car ride everyone is mostly silent expect Tyler. He blares the radio and knows all the lyrics to almost all of the songs.
