The man stood close to her door, looking up from the clipboard to see if the young girl was okay. He couldn't help but hear beautiful yet muffled humming coming from her room, and his eyes flashed a bright green. He unintentionally ignored his name being called repeatedly before feeling a gentle touch to his shoulder.

"Dr. Banner, is there anything on the girl we found this morning?" The blonde asked inquisitively, looking over by her door.

"Uh, no, unfortunately. She's suffered minor injuries, but she should be fine." He mumbled, adjusting his glasses that sat on the bridge of his nose.

"Did she mention any family?"

"None. She won't talk at all, for some reason." The man nervously adjusted his glasses before retiring his attention back to his work.

"Do you have any possible evidence on the girl that could help us?" Steve asked, his patience wearing unbelievably thin.

"Steve, I can't tell you anything about my patients. It's confidential, I'm really sorry." Dr. Banner apologized meekly, his eyebrows narrowing when he looked over to Steve, who seemed fumed.

"It's fine, I understand." Steve muttered through his teeth, glancing at the girl who laid peacefully in her bed. She was the mystery that Steve wanted so desperately to solve.

Dr. Banner watched as Steve quickly walked away, almost angrily. Banner sighed, reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose. He hated loosing his temper, things never ended well. Blowing a breath of air out of his mouth with frustration, he looked over at the small book that sat underneath a thick stack of papers. He quickly grabbed the old book, skimming through the pages. His eyes became distant once he was reminded of a story his mother used to tell him when he was a young boy. He smiled for a split second, returning his attention to the where the girl was staying. "Ailanna," He muttered, looking back at the book as a huge smile plastered his face.

Meanwhile, Steve Rogers wasn't taking no as an answer. His hand gripped the doorknob to Dr. Banner's office, his eyes looking ahead and behind him cautiously before he twisted the handle so hard that it gave a satisfying crack.

With a sigh, he took the bow broken door knob into his hand, walking into the office and pushing the door closed once more. With curiosity taking the best of him, Steve's eyes trailed straight towards the file cabinet. When he reached it, he opened it, searching through it for any kind of evidence, but finding none.

Suddenly, his eyes trailed to Banner's desk, and they became focused on a cream colored file. With a glance towards the door, Steve made his way towards it, slowly opening it to reveal a picture of the girl, right beside writing that stated that the girl had no type of information, whatsoever.

Steve's eyes narrowed as he heard footsteps coming in the direction of the office, and his breath hitched. By reflex, Steve closed the folder and tucked it inside his coat, quickly exiting Dr. Banner's office before anyone could notice.
