Depression is a song that makes your heart drop through the floor.
A feeling that makes you welcome apathy,
For then you don't feel anything anymore.
Depression is not a short period of time,
It is a clawing addiction that stays with you as you climb.
Depression is a part of me, and if it makes you uncomfortable then you should go,
I don't have time for people who despise the emotions I show.
For even without them my upward struggle is far too slow.
Yet still, upward I go.
